Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of December 1, 2019

The crystals I am working with for the week are Chrysoprase, Fancy Jasper and Moss Agate. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Chrysoprase – Connected to nature. Profoundly mood-lifting, cheering, supportive, and healing for the spirit. Helps in times of depression, sadness or coping with the darker, more challenging periods of life. It can help us to let go of anger, and focus on the positive, rather than being overwhelmed by the negative, and remind us of what we have to be grateful for – definitely a “glass half full” sort of crystal. For acceptance and self-acceptance.

Fancy Jasper – Brings wholeness and healing to an environment or situation. Helps with letting go of bitterness and resentment. Eliminates negativity and strengthens insight. Promotes forgiveness, peace and tranquility. Helps you to lighten up and enjoy yourself more. It can also relieve fear, guilt and frustration, building inner strength and confidence. Helps one to better connect with nature.

Moss Agate – Brings general abundance, success, and prosperity. Helps one gain peace with extreme or excessive duties in life. Increases self-confidence and self-esteem. Assists with overcoming addictive behaviours.

I wasn’t going to do a reading this week. To be honest, things have just been hard. I’m exhausted and depleted. I know that we are turning a corner into better days, so I wanted to see what guidance the cards and crystals had for this week. It feels like most of 2019 was challenging. We have been experiencing a very challenging phase of life. We can sit and stew and complain, but it really doesn’t help anything. In fact, it makes everything seem entirely worse. I could’ve given up and not done this reading, but I would miss out on this beautiful guidance and inspiration. I would miss out on an opportunity to see things in a more positive light. We can’t sit on the sidelines being pissed off or sad anymore. We are breeding resentment. We have to look at ourselves… and only ourselves. I KNOW this will be hard. So much of our life is affected by others. So many people are dealing with relationship issues, or the loss of loved ones. It can be hard to let go of the grief and pain… but we have to, if we don’t want to live a miserable life. We can’t stay mad and sad and resentful. We have to do what it takes to get our energy back in alignment. Life is too beautiful to let it pass you by. You have to make the changes you need in your life. That may mean leaving a relationship, or it may just mean protecting yourself better and staying in your own lane, keeping yourself happy. Spending time in nature is going to be very beneficial to do this. Take the time to enjoy being with yourself in solitude. Treat yourself well. Taking time for self-care is exactly what you need to relieve the fear and frustration. Don’t let things keep dragging you under. Put a stop to it now, and look around you. See how good things are. See the positive aspects instead of dwelling on the negative. Find ways to lighten up and enjoy your days. Even if your a busy mom like me, you can still carve out small moments in your day for your own happiness. It’s so important that you do. It’s important that you see the value in taking care of yourself. This world keeps expecting us to run this rat race, and it’s ok to say NO once in a while. You deserve a day to yourself. You deserve care and love. You deserve to feel joy. The only person who can make sure this happens, is you. Everything is saying that 2020 is going to be a much more positive year, so let’s get through this last bit of 2019 with faith and optimism. There are always going to be rainy days, but there is also going to be sunny ones. Make sure to enjoy every moment you can. Let’s see what the cards have to add.

We have to be strong and unwavering in our power, like the stone people. Nobody except Mother Earth can shake these pillars of stone. Yes, they wear the markings of years gone by, but still they stand tall. This is about being vigilant in who you are. If somebody is affecting you negatively, you have to do what you need to for yourself. Only you know what’s right for you. This is not about making decisions on a whim… this is about making conscious decisions when we are emotionally stable, and planning for our future. We have so much growing still to do. We are always learning and growing, especially when things are tough and we can’t see the way out. I saw a post today that talked about how we will always deal with challenges in our life, and the only thing that truly changes is how we deal with them. This is about growing and evolving, and handling your life in better ways, that support your evolution and growth. The Lotus Flower also teaches us that things can’t always be light. There are times we have to fold inward. There are times we need to just rest. When that light is shining though.. when your feeling good, let yourself feel good. Everything we go through is necessary for growth, so don’t beat yourself up over it. Look at this beautiful flower that grows from the mud and silt at the water’s bottom. Even when things have been dark and murky, you can still blossom into your own unique beauty. It’s important that we hold onto trust and faith, that we are going to unfold into a beautiful flower someday. You can’t force things, especially lessons and growth. When you get there, you’ll will know it. You don’t have to stress about it. Just move through life and do the best you can. It’s really as simple and as complicated as that. Your steady faith and love will continue guiding you back to the light. This can bring up a lot of fears for people, when they don’t know what the future will hold. In truth, does anybody really know? We have to find the beauty in being vulnerable. Yes, it sucks that things didn’t turn out how you expected, but what if it’s opened doors to other things you could never have imagined? No matter what stage we are going through, there is always an opportunity to see the beauty. Relax and enjoy your life. Question those fears when these arise. Do I really need to feel scared when I’m alone? Is this a rational fear? What is likely to actually happen to me? What if you could trust that you can handle anything that could potentially happen, and worry about that IF it does arise. Can you let things go and just appreciate this time? We need to find ways to relax and enjoy our lives more. You don’t have to react to everyone else. You can acknowledge their needs while respecting your own boundaries. You can be who you want to be, without fear. The Island card shows us, even in the darkest conditions, we can still grow. We are still beautiful. One could easily look at this card and feel the fear of being alone.. but what if you could look at this card and imagine peaceful solitude. This card is again, asking us to take time for ourselves, to nourish yourself. When you spend time with yourself in solitude, you are choosing to connect with who you really are. This Universe is created by love, why should there be anything to fear? It’s all in your perception, so keep your thoughts positive and make the best of everything!
