Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of September 20, 2020

The crystals I am working with for the week are Rutile Quartz, Amber Aragonite & Snow Quartz. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Rutile Quartz – An energizing stone that helps get energy moving on all levels. Assists with mental focus. It is said to attract love and stabilize relationships. Helpful in uncovering the causes of mental issues and hang-ups. Diminishes fears and assists with decision-making processes. Eases loneliness and guilt. It is used to help one get out of a rut in their life as well as for stabilizing emotional and mental processes, clarifying thought patterns and emotional reactions. Increases self-reliance.

Amber Aragonite – Protects your heart and balances your energy. Relieves stress and calms the mind. Increases opportunities. Awakens your inner power. Helps your strengthen your skills and talents. Helps you to obtain strength and security. Encourages conservation of Earth.

Snow Quartz – Brings good fortune. A calming and soothing stone. Helpful for meditation, and looking within. It can be considered a very yin, feminine type of quartz. Often used for purification on spiritual and other levels.

Things have been really hard… lots of ups and downs while we move through this incredibly transformational year that is 2020. The good news is that we are moving forward. The Rutile Quartz is increasing our energy to get moving on project and helping us focus on the tasks we need to complete. We are overcoming the hangups that have been holding us back, not only in relationships, but also from putting ourselves out into the world in general. This is a big time for us all. It’s not a time to play small anymore. There are big opportunities awaiting around each corner. One small choice can have a ripple effect of positivity. We have to let go of our fears and take steps towards our dreams. We can’t feel guilty about choosing what we know is right for us. It’s the only way to get out of feeling stuck, is to spend more time following your own heart, instead of living for everyone else. We won’t be lonely forever. We are ok on our own. We can take care of ourselves. We are strong, and we are ready. The Amber Aragonite is protecting our hearts and balancing our energy, after all we’ve been through. It’s helping us to stay calm and stress free, so that we can move forward confidently. There are opportunities on the way for us, and we need to be ready to chase them. Our skills and talents will be put to use. We have big things to accomplish, most importantly, conserving the planet Earth. When we do good things… when we put out positivity… it’s bound to come back in the form of opportunities and abundance. Good fortune is on the way for us! I keep hearing it, and I believe it wholeheartedly. Meditation is very beneficial right now. It’s important to take time to connect to our inner being. We need to balance and release stress. We are evolving in many aspects of our lives. The more support you seek spiritually, the easier these transitions will be. Things aren’t necessarily easy right now, but they are leading to amazingly wonderful things. Keep up the positivity! Let’s see what the cards have to say!

What beautiful cards… Trust the Niggle says, to follow your heart and your intuition. To listen to where your soul is guiding you. We can’t keep ignoring the yucky feelings anymore. What makes you feel bad? How can you change that? We’ve been trying to numb the pain for too long.. we’ve come to realize that it isn’t working. We have to make changes in our life that will allow us to let go of this negativity. Your light wants to shine, and it’s nearly impossible if you are surrounded by people who dull it. You know what shifts you need to make in your life to have more success and energy. It’s a matter of conquering fears to make the empowering choices for our life. Are you going to stay small and continue to try to numb the pain, or are you ready to finally transmute it and grow. The Universe will keep challenging you more and more if you ignore it’s calling. We are being reminded that we are safe. That we are ok. How are you being called forward? We have to keep our thoughts positive and optimistic. What we think about is sooooo important. I know it’s impossible to think positive all the time, but the more we can stop ourselves from negative thoughts, the more positive energy we become naturally attuned to. The Universe is all about vibration. Keep it positive so it rebounds more positivity back to you. If you need help, ask for it from your Angels and loved ones. Remember how powerful you are, and how much power there is in choice. We can improve the outcomes by thinking positively. Act as if they have already come true, and be grateful. Avoid worrying as much as possible. This is also about stepping into your full power, and being the type of person you would respect. Rise up to the level of the kind of person you want to be. Remember your worth, and remember, you can always make a new choice. When we choose to see the light in the dark times, it offers us hope. It helps us redirect our energy and power back to what it is that we want, which is more light. Keep bringing more and more light into your World… into our World. Sending you love and light.

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of February 2, 2020

The crystals I am working with for the week are Puddingstone Jasper, Aragonite and Jasper Mookaite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Puddingstone Jasper – Great for stress relief. Calm and nurturing. Helps with anxiety, reducing nightmares, and calming the mind for better study habits. Prevents tissue deterioration of organs and muscles, and strengthens the immune system. Promotes body balance.

Aragonite – Encourages conservation and caring for the Earth. Assists healing and balancing of the emotional body, and help you to overcome stress and anxiety. They send light out in a variety of different directions, to create an outcome of heightened light and energy in their surroundings. They relieve anger and resentment, and they are known to help you if you have anxiety, stress or other negative emotional feelings. Increases energy. Boosts self-confidence and feelings of self-worth.

Jasper Mookaite – Use to increase self-confidence, self-worth, and to realize one’s full potential. Helps overcome procrastination by revealing the true reason for avoiding certain tasks and bringing the motivation needed to resolve the issue. Its constant energy keeps one focused and grounded while soothing the mind and quieting distracting thoughts. It emanates the energy of animal knowing, or instinct, and may be used to amplify one’s own instincts when making decisions.

I used the Aragonite and Jasper Mookaite together back in December, when I had the encounter with the owl… I know we will be receiving signs from animals or out in nature this week. We are working our way out of the darkness, but it has been tough! We are stressed out… worried if we are making the right choices or doing the right things. We are experiencing anxiety because we are worried about the future… which seems so unclear at the moment. There are so many illnesses going around at the moment as well. When you are experiencing worry and stress, your immune system is lower and can be more easily compromised. It’s important to eat right, use your oils and all of your natural healing tools, and listen to the doctors orders. It’s so important to keep your stress under control. Calm your mind and body, and help yourself stay balanced and healthy. The Earth is hurting and stressed now too. Imagine all the pollution and stress we place on it every single day…. which in turn, comes back to us in the form of illness and disease. It is a reciprocal relationship we have with our environment, and the longer we ignore it, the more ramifications we will see to the life living here. The Earth is moving and shifting, burning… making her presence known and felt. She wants us to do better. She knows we are capable of better. She wants us to wake up, and find better ways. Even if they are small steps, do what you can for the Earth. Take care of yourself the same way. Do the best you can for yourself. Look at the underlying reasons why you hold yourself back and try to overcome them. Realize your worth and how much you have to offer. When you notice yourself feeling angry and resentful, remember that those feelings are only based on your expectations of others. How do you feel about your life when you don’t think about those around you? When you just think about yourself and your potential? You are limitless. That’s the real truth. How much you let people hold you back, is up to you. Listen to your intuition and instincts this week. Watch for the animal signs and look up their meaning. Focus on your own growth, direction and healing. Let’s see what the cards have to add!

I love these cards. I say it every week, but it’s so true. Look at her on the Poised card. She’s so free. She’s happy. She’s dancing. She’s reaching for the stars. Spirit is right there with her, in her soul. There’s nobody else on any of these cards… only you. You are ready for what is to come. Not only can you handle it, but you can put on a beautiful performance. You are ready and can feel the greatness that is to come for you. This is about truly loving yourself. When you love yourself deeply and fully, then you become ready to love others in that way as well. Step into your power with confidence and shine your light. Notice the time clocks on the banner? Time is what you make of it, and how you choose to perceive it. You can be mad at everyone else because you are so busy, or you can stop giving all your energy away, and balance it better with what you receive. It’s ok to put your foot down and say no. Make sure you are allowing yourself to receive as much as you give. I can’t help but notice how the crystals made me speak about the Earth burning and shaking, and here we find a beautiful picture of a woman feeding Kangaroos. This is again asking us to be more conscious of how we help the Earth. It doesn’t want to be “used” anymore than you would want to be “used” by someone. We all have to be responsible for how much we take and how much we give. Some people take too much, and some people give too much.. and when that is out of balance, it breeds negative energy. Keep your focus on yourself and doing the best you can. This card is also addressing anxiety we may be feeling, and the need to ensure you are breathing well, balancing inhalation with exhalation. I thought it was only fitting to pull an animal card, and we received the Roadrunner, which is so perfect. When life is hard and dreary, always keep your sense of humour. Find things to laugh about and cheer yourself up when life feels too serious. Laughter and joy are the best stress relievers. Yes, I have a lot of stress in my life, a lot of responsibility and a lot of reasons to worry… but it doesn’t mean I need to stay there all the time. I have a hospital checkup for my son this week, which is stressful and causes me anxiety and worry, but as soon as it’s done, we rock out and go on with life. We smile and sing and appreciate what’s good. We watch funny videos and laugh at life. After all, life is fun. Life is happy. Life is good. Get through what you gotta get through, and get back to being happy. Have a wonderful week!

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of December 8, 2019

The crystals I am working with for the week are Jasper Mookaite, Aragonite and Tiger Iron. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Jasper Mookaite – Use to connect with elemental Earth powers for increasing self-confidence, self-worth, and to realize one’s full potential. An ideal tool for overcoming procrastination by revealing the true reason for avoiding certain tasks and bringing the motivation needed to resolve the issue. Its constant energy keeps one focused and grounded while soothing the mind and quieting distracting thoughts. It is great for focusing on a specific goal or for a motivational boost in the workplace. It emanates the energy of animal knowing, or instinct, and may be used to amplify one’s own instincts when making decisions.

Aragonite – Encourages conservation and caring for the Earth. They are said to clear blocked ley lines and aid geopathic stress.

Tiger Iron – A stone of clarity, particularly clarity of knowledge, enabling one to see the truth below the apparent surface of issues. Tiger Iron also helps with creative endeavors and all types of artistic abilities. It is used to bring strength, vitality, confidence, willpower, and balance. It is an excellent stone for people wishing to bring more motivation to their lives. A stone of good luck.

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been so exhausted and depleted lately. The path forward seems so unclear… I’ve been asking for signs of guidance from Spirit to inspire me. This morning, I had a beautiful owl fly alongside my vehicle on the way to town. It was so amazing. It flew alongside of us for a while, then slowly made it’s way in front of my vehicle and then flew to the tree beside us and landed. We were going slow, so we stopped and were in complete awe as my son and I looked at him. It was the perfect sign of guidance, and exactly what I had been asking for. “Owl is a symbol of being able to navigate any darkness in our life. This Spirit brings clarity, prophetic inklings, and a strong connection with the mystical world. When Owl wings its way into your life, you have the opportunity to become far more observant. Settle down on that tree limb and watch. You’ll be amazed at how much life goes by when you’re not running around so much.” The Owl is a perfect symbol of the change and transition we are experiencing now. For those of you who don’t know me personally, my 7 year old son just recently finished 3 years of chemo treatment for leukemia and is now dealing with some additional health challenges. It’s been hard for us, and I’ve been worrying a lot lately. The Owl is such a perfect sign for me that I can navigate this dark time, and we will get through it. I feel like I’m just running all the time, and the Owl is another reminder to slow down. (Also, I’ve been loving the song Slow It Down by Mike Posner!!) We truly are always being guided by Spirit, and whenever you feel lost, ask for signs and have patience. They will show up. I have been procrastinating about a lot of things in my life lately… and yes, it is because I’m exhausted and depleted… but why am I exhausted and depleted? There is an underlying cause and reason that needs to be looked at. Maybe we aren’t being offered the support we need in life… or maybe we are hoping to rely on others, when we shouldn’t be. We may be giving too much and not receiving enough in return. Perhaps we need our own space to find our own motivations. The Jasper Mookaite is going to help us understand what is holding us back, and help give us the motivation we need to move forward. We have to realize our own potential… we cannot keep living just to please others. We hold ourselves back from our full potential when we live in complete service to others and constantly put ourselves on the back burner. Jasper Mookaite also facilitates animal knowing, so it is no surprise for the Owl Spirit to come visit today. When we are so overwhelmed with stress and resentment, and don’t spend enough time with ourselves to release it, it builds up and creates anxiety. Resenting other people, or life in general, only hurts us… so find ways to get your own footing in life. Make your own choices and be responsible for your own freedom. People in our lives have been hiding their truth… not only that, they have been doing things to cause us resentment. You have to take your power back, and see the truth of who they are. We want vitality, motivation and happiness… but how can we have those things when the people in our life keep us under their finger. We have to break free from the people who control us. We have to take back control of our life, for our own good. Let’s see what the cards have to add.

The Five of Autumn is telling us to ask for help from Spirit when things are challenging. Money has been a huge issue for me, since I haven’t been able to work as much with both my kids having exceptional needs. I’m used to always giving and providing, so this has been very challenging for me.. being forced to rely on assistance from others. I’ve been worrying too much about money with Christmas approaching, and this card is a perfect sign to me to try to let go of my worries and ask Spirit for help. I also need to have complete faith that everything will work out. Anything you are struggling with now, try to let go of the worries and ask Spirit (Heaven, God, Angels, Universe, etc) for help. We have to try to focus on the positive aspects of our life, because dwelling on the negative things invites more of the same. The Five of Autumn can represent health challenges. The Child card for me, is obviously a sign of the time I spend caring for children. Most importantly though, this card is a reminder to ask Spirit to relieve my worries and make time for me to nurture my own inner child. That it is necessary to enjoy my life, even amid whatever else is going on. What’s the best way to nurture your inner child? Explore and play. Travel. Go on an adventure. I’m the first one who says I can’t go anywhere because I need to stay close to home with the kids. This card is telling me that it’s ok to line up childcare and take a break. This card is about freedom. It’s about taking what you need from life, just for you… even when it’s hard…. especially when it’s hard.

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of March 26, 2017

The crystals I am working with for the week are Bloodstone, Lava Rock and Aragonite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Bloodstone – Centering and grounding. Increases adaptability and organization. Lessens confusion, stress, and anxiety. A stone of courage. Brings renewal by releasing blockages. Heals emotional traumas and grief. It enhances the intellect. It is used to bring energy in many ways, including abundance, success and prosperity.

Lava Rock – Embraces Fire and Earth Energy. When a person is drawn to lava rock it might be because they need the fire or energy in their life. They can be used for grounding, protection and making a connection to the earth. They allow us to “root” scattered energy, find focus and bring balance to our center by embracing practicality. They encourage stimulation. This stone has the nurturing power of Mother Earth. Considered a fiery fertility stone. In Feng Shui, Black lava is used in the area of Career and Life Path as well as the Helpful People and Travel areas.

Aragonite – Their vibration encourages conservation and caring for the earth. Helps the earth. They are said to clear blocked ley lines and aid geopathic stress.

When I drew these stones, I knew they were very transformational, and that we are in a strong period of transformation. The Lava Rock starts as a fluid fire, and hardens into a beautiful healing rock. The crystals are telling me that we are struggling through this transformation. One big reason why, is what we have done to Mother Earth. She is struggling too. It is like, how can you expect your heart to function normally if you are neglecting and ruining your body’s health? We are ruining our planet, and we expect that not to affect us, when we are growths of this planet. Imagine how much potential we could have if we had a fertile, healthy environment to grow and thrive in. If things around us aren’t healthy, the things we consume, the things we breath.. it’s hard for us to be healthy. Consumerism is quickly draining this planet of her precious resources. We are tainting the waters, wasting our food and taking other species down for temporary gain. Not only that, we are hurting ourselves and inviting disease. We need to put energy into loving our planet, like we should be loving ourselves. We need to clean it, and make more sustainable choices. I know people think this concept is so “left wing”, but honestly, it’s just the straight-out truth. We need to do it and we need to get doing it now. We need to avoid toxins. We need to go back to a more simple and natural way of life. We need to embody those very ideals that we want to see reflected around us. If we want to see beauty, happiness and adventure in our life, then we need to find those things inside us and reflect them to the outer world. Show the Earth you will help care for her beauty. Be proud of yourself and be confident and bold. Choose to be happy every moment you can. Take those adventures and grow your soul. It’s a reciprocal relationship, what you get is what you give, so be generous. I am going to use the Earth Magic Oracle Card deck by Stephen Farmer, so let’s see which cards want to go along with this message.

The winter solstice really reminds me of how our winter is going… it’s never ending! This card is a sign that it’s ok to slow down. That we need to slow down. We need to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. We need to integrate the lessons we have learned. We need to take time to consider what our next goals in life are. If you have been feeling stuck or blocked lately, know that it is ok and that the light will return. We need to realize that the fears we have are illusionary, and find ways to break through them. There is so much promise on the horizon, and we need to breach the water and show up for it when the time comes. We are moving from a phase where we stayed inside of ourselves, but we are preparing to put ourselves out there in a big way, most likely in your career and life purpose. Take time to reflect on your life, on how you could care for yourself better, on how you can love a little more. Make small choices to be more generous to others, to yourself, to the Earth. By loving yourself, you give yourself the confidence you need to come out, to show yourself, and to put on a beautiful display of talent. You have so much inside of you waiting to be explored and discovered. One way you can do this is by having adventures. By exploring the world around you, you somehow explore your inner world… the reciprocal relationship. There is so much beauty on the horizon… this could not be a more gorgeous sunset with the new moon hanging so delicately in the sky. There is so much to look forward to. The couple is embracing each other knowing that everything is going to be great, and all they have to do is be in the moment, appreciate life and be happy.

Winter Solstice (Reflection) – The midpoint of Winter is not only the shortest day of the year, but also the longest night. The world is very still and the land dormant. Various “festivals of light” are celebrated, and have been for thousands of years, serving as a reminder that the light will indeed return. Throughout many cultures there are tales describing this time as the birth of the archetypal Sun King – including the Christian story of Jesus’s birth – representing the hope of renewal from the darkest period of the solar cycle. This image portrays a simple yet powerful representation of the winter solstice. We see a clear reflection of the snowy woods on the still, frozen waters of the lake. The blue tint drapes the scene with an even greater sense of quiet and solace, inviting us to walk very softly lest we disturb the intense yet gentle grace of this scene. The reflection of the trees on the frozen lake reminds us that this is a time for us to go inside – to both our physical shelter as well as our internal world – and there contemplate the season that had passed, the season that it, and the seasons yet to come. Review the past year and ask yourself what the most important lessons you have had to learn are, what you have accomplished, and what dreams and visions you want to manifest in the upcoming year. Whether it has been a relatively smooth ride or a challenging series of events, acknowledge your experience as being the work of Source, no matter what your judgements, fears or joys are. Honour whatever has happened over the previous several months with gratitude and forgiveness. Then let it go. Allow yourself some solitude so you can spend some quiet, slow time in reflection. Once you feel complete, reflect on your present life, especially focusing on what you are grateful for. When you are finished, consider what is to come – all the different possibilities and potential that exist before you. Allow your imagination to roam without limitation of ambition and see what shows up. Notice how you feel in your body with whatever scenario plays out in your mind. These are previews of that which is gestating, and can manifest and grow when cared for properly. Patience and stillness is called for here, for just as Earth cycles have their own pace, so does this cycle.

Whale (Breach) – This powerful creature of the ocean takes a few great sweeps with his fins and propels himself briefly out of the waters where he spends the majority of his life. He’s taking a break from the ordinary Earth element in which he lives to exist even for a few moments in the realm of blue skies and sun, having broken through the skin of the ocean in a magnificent display of fullness and strength. All baleen whales breach, but none more spectacularly than the humpbacks, considered the acrobats of this family. They arch, stretch, and twist their bodies even as they approach the surface of the water, in what may be an ancient mating ritual, a form of communication, or even a way to remove parasites. In this image, the humpback whale that has burst out of the ocean expresses an almost palpable feeling of release and joy. Often when we manage to change our environment – to break through illusionary blockages – we experience an intense feeling of relief and can let go of any previously held fears and assumptions of what would happen once we did overcome that barrier, whether it’s material, environmental or mental. Simply getting away from the trance of technology for a few hours and spending time in nature is a breach from the trappings of civilization that can suffocate and prevent us from connecting to earth. It is time to take a break! Not just a coffee break, but a respite from the usual environment you find yourself in. That trip you wanted to take? Go for it. Tired of being indoors? Make a point to go outside. You have become so attached to your surroundings that you have created within them an illusion of safety, yet it is not these things that make you feel safe. Rather, the familiarity you have imbued in your surroundings have generated this false sense of security. Taking time away from the familiar is literally about changing your external environment in a significant way, such as doing something you have always wanted to experience. Another perspective is breaking through the barrier of the beliefs that have constricted you in any way from who you truly are. This is your opportunity to do some intentional breaching of these thought patterns, which will open you to different worlds and perspectives.

New Moon (Promise) – Gazing at the sliver of the new moon smiling down upon them, the couple embraces each other, welcoming the promise of their love. The fading sun drapes the clouds and waters with its tinge of luminescence, as the crescent opens its arms to the nearby planet Venus, named after the Roman Goddess of love. This is a time for manifestation, beginnings, and renewal, with the promise that our desires will come to fruition. Here Grandmother Moon initiates another lunar cycle, moving from darkness to fullness and back again over approximately one month. Her promise of what is to come is embedded in the first glimmer of her light as she emerges from behind the curtain of darkness that had recently encompassed her. It is a promise that has been kept for as long as she has existed. This is the time to launch a project, a new relationship, or renew something that has been put aside for a later date. With your intention and willingness to allow a full cycle to complete itself, that which you desire will manifest. The seed of that idea is ready to emerge from the darkness of your subconscious into your full awareness. The next step is to put the action into what’s required to fully realize this idea. A promise has two meanings: it can be a commitment and guarantee to yourself (or someone else) that a particular thing will happen, or it can imply that something specific is expected to happen. When your will is aligned with the will of Spirit and your intention is focused upon what you wish to have happen, there will be fulfillment, and the promise is kept.

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of February 19, 2017

The crystals I am working with for the week are Sunstone, Goldstone and Aragonite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Sunstone – Dispels fears and phobias. A leadership stone. Used to decrease stress and lift depression. Brings good luck and abundance, and turns negative energy into positive. It is said to be helpful in contacting animal or spirit guides. Used to increase physical and sexual energy and heal depression, phobias and stress related illness.

Goldstone – Helps attain goals. Helps to stay calm and stabilize emotions. It is an energy generator and deflects unwanted energies, making it useful for protection. Revitalizes the energy field.

Aragonite – Increases energy, especially with prayer. Boosts self-confidence and feelings of self-worth. Diminishes anger and relieves stress. It is helpful to those who need to release attachments and issues from the past. A good Earth healer, it encourages conservation of Earth’s precious resources. A grounding stone that creates a deeper connection to planet Earth.

I wasn’t sure which Angel Card deck I was going to use today, and I thought, I need to do an Animal Spirit Guide or Nature cards today. The crystals I chose are confirming that energy. They want us to connect to our Animal and Spirit Guides, and they want us to connect to the Earth. We need to deepen our connection to our Earth Mother. We have all grown from her and live on her land. We must take care of our home. The crystals make me feel like we’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, letting fears creep into our thoughts. The crystals are here to heal issues from the past, diminish the anger, stress and depression, and dispel our fears. They are going to help turn any negativity into positive energy. Not only will they boost our confidence to help us attain our goals, it looks like we have luck and abundance on our side as well! Let’s see what the cards say for the week.

I decided to pull two cards from the Earth Magic deck and one from the Animal Spirit Guide deck, both by Steven D. Farmer. The Winter Solstice card represents a time where we need to go within and reflect on our lives and find who we truly are. A time to reflect on everything we have learned and how that is going to help us in the future. The crystals are going to help us heal any past issues and transmute anything negative into positive. It is a reminder that we always must go through periods of darkness and times of quiet, but that the sun will return. It always does. Good times are coming. It is a positive time where we are getting ready to unfold, to grow into ourselves more confidently and fully. Our paths are going to unfold before our eyes. There are always going to be bumps in the road, and the Boar reminds you to face those problems head on. There is nothing you can’t handle. The cards and crystals want you to have confidence!! It’s a positive and abundant time, and you will emerge victorious!

Winter Solstice (Reflection) – The midpoint of Winter is not only the shortest day of the year, but it is also the longest night. The reflection of the trees on the frozen lake reminds us that this is a time for us to go inside – to both our physical shelter as well as our internal world – and there contemplate the season that has passed, the season that is, and the seasons yet to come. Review the past year and ask yourself what the most important lessons you have had to learn are, what you have accomplished, and what dreams and visions you want to manifest in the upcoming year. Whether it has been a relatively smooth ride or a challenging series of events, acknowledge your experience as being the work of Source, no matter what your judgments, fears, or joys are. Allow your imagination to roam without limitation or ambition, and see what shows up. Notice how you feel in your body with whatever scenario plays out in your mind. These are previews of that which is gestating, and can manifest and grow when cared for properly. Patience and stillness is called for here, for just as the Earth cycles have their own pace, so does this cycle.

Lotus Flower (Unfoldment) – The lotus flowers sits upon one of its leaves, having risen to the surface as the sun – held in the hand of God -invites it upward to the light. This unique plant is rooted in the mud and muck at the bottom of a body of water, it’s stem reaching up to the surface, where the leaves rest quietly. At night the flower closes and sinks below the surface, only to rise with the daylight and once again gradually unfold it’s petals, it’s stem extending above the waterline three feet or more. What we learn from this amazing plant is how our own spiritual path unfolds and opens to the light, then at times gently fold in on itself for proper rest when the daylight fades. This period is just as necessary as the growth, for it allows the plant to integrate what it has gained in nourishment during the day. It’s also just as important that it is rooted, and it is yet another miracle of Nature that something so exquisitely beautiful is formed from the mud and silt at the water’s bottom. Your spiritual unfoldment is occurring at all times whether or not you are aware of it. It is inevitable as long as you put your trust in the hands of the Creator, the one who holds the light. Like the Lotus, your soul is always reaching for the light to fulfill it’s karmic destiny, but even in that process there are periods of darkness and times to rest. It is a natural cycle, one that cannot truly be coerced or halted. It has an innate rhythm of its own, one that is unique to the being that is you. You do not need to strive or be driven by spiritual ambition. It does no good to try to force growth upon yourself – or others, for that matter. Allowing is the key here. Allow the place in you that naturally wants to follow the light to do so while recognizing that even when you have complete faith, you will face challenges and, occasionally, suffering. Your steady faith and love will guide you on your journey of returning to the light.

Boar (Pig) – Whatever difficulties you’re experiencing now, whether with a relationship, career path, or some other concern, dig in and rummage around until you discover how to solve the problem. Then take immediate action to remedy it. Every time you confront adverse situations in this way, you’ll be uprooting those elements in your life that appear to be obstacles to fulfilling your purpose. Life can sometimes be very uncooperative with your rational mind’s sense of order, and will at times even block your demands of how events or experiences should unfold. If you’re living on Earth, you’re going to get your feet muddy sometimes, but it’s no call for panic, crisis, or drama. Instead, take a couple of deep breathes and view whatever problem you encounter as simply something that needs to be taken care of. As the saying goes, there really are no problems – only creative possibilities. Once you have emerged victorious – which means that you either conquered your problem or changed your thinking about how you initially perceived the situation – you’ll experience a surge of power and confidence. Remember that your power originates from Source, expressed through you and as you. When you vanquished the illusion of the situation being a problem, you’ll not only feel a greater sense of relief and freedom, but you also open the way for your heart, mind, and soul to be more in alignment with the Will of Spirit. When you operate from that perspective, you can overcome anything!
