Super New Moon in Capricorn – December 23, 2022

On Friday, December 23, 2022, we have a Super New Moon at 1°32’ in the sign of Capricorn peaking at 3:16am MST. 🌑✨♑️ Chiron also goes direct on this same day.

This is a New Moon, so it’s the perfect time to set intentions, especially for the year ahead. With Chiron going direct, it shows us that we are ready to take charge and heal. Trust that everything you’ve gone through is leading you towards your destiny.

We have some squares and less-than-ideal conjunctions that can seemingly work against us during this New Moon. We may be feeling a little empty or needy, like we have given all we have.. and for what? It may be easy to let our minds wander into chaos and overthink.

It’s all about what we do with the energy and the persective we view it from. We always have a choice. We have to take our power back and have the courage to make the changes we need. We have to be willing to put in the hard work and be responsible so that we can live the kind of lives we want and deserve. We have to use the hard times to inspire us to create the changes we want to see going forward.

It’s only when it rains, that we grow. It’s only when we can gain the contrast and perspective that we truly understand and see the big picture. Usually when we are stressed out, we are micro focused on our issues. Zoom out the lens and take in the beauty that has been your life. Appreciate it all.

Celebrate who you are. Take the time you need to do the things you want. Rest and recharge. Make new plans and pursue new opportunities. Have some fun and experience joy. Let yourself flow with life and be inspired. Welcome change instead of resisting it.

Look for the light and the magic. Look for the inspiration. Embrace spiritual pathways for healing, guidance, connection, and direction. Remember that this Universe is a magical manifestation of your perception, and it is all about what you make of it.

It’s all possible. There’s a whole new year ahead of us. Put your energy to good use and see your dreams come to fruition. You have the strength, determination, and tenancy to create the happy life you desire.

On Wednesday, July 13th, 2022, we have a Super Full Buck Moon at 21°20’ in the sign of Capricorn, peaking at 12:37pm MDT. It is the largest Full Moon of the year so it is going to be very powerful for releasing and letting go!

We are feeling focused and driven towards our goals. We are seeing the truth more fully. We appreciating who we are more deeply. We are realizing that we are in control of our lives. We are putting in the work to shift our choices and eliminate bad habits now, so that our future can be more healthy and abundant.

Don’t be scared to be bold or try something new. You never know where it might take you or what you might learn. When you gain new skills, you can become stronger, powerful, and more resilient.

The only way to grow is to stretch your comfort zone. Expect the unexpected and shake things up a bit! Don’t be scared to face challenges head-on. You can overcome them.

Full Strawberry Super Moon in Capricorn – June 24, 2021

Thursday, June 24th, we have a beautiful, powerful, Full Strawberry Super Moon in the sign of Capricorn. The Full Moon peaks at 12:40pm MDT here in Alberta. 🌕✨🍓♑️

It’s fitting that today is Father’s Day, and Capricorn is the “Daddy” sign of the Zodiac, much like it’s governing planet Saturn.

There are positive and challenging aspects to this Full Moon, which could make for a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Just remember, you are in charge of how you perceive your experience.

Try to stay in control of how you express your emotions. View your emotions from your higher self, and be compassionate towards yourself. Give yourself the love and care you need to stay grounded.

Remember that there are good aspects to this Full Moon too! Success, good fortune, ambition. Keep your mindset optimistic, even if some challenges should arise. Know that everything will work itself out and you got this!

We need to challenge the status quo and challenge our fears that have held us back. Maybe you have been scared to ride the rollercoaster… It could be frightening and awful… or it could be exhilarating and freeing! Maybe you would come to realize you were never scared at all… and then what would there to be scared of?

It’s not even about completing the ride… it’s about experiencing it and going through it, and making the best of it as you do. It’s about realizing there was nothing to fear all along.

This Full Moon is favourable for opportunities, optimism, and honesty. There is likely going to be new friendships and partnerships formed around this time, and existing relationships may be strengthened.

You might also find yourself feeling frustrated with yourself or the way things are. Use your emotions to help envision your future.. How do you want things to be? What would make you happy? What do you need to let go of in order to do that? Keep yourself grounded and use your logic to construct a plan. There honestly is nothing you can’t handle.

We are cleaning house on this Full Moon and letting go of all the things that don’t belong here anymore. We are making beautiful space for new to enter. We are restructuring our beliefs and our lives, to support a higher vision for ourselves.

New Moon in Capricorn – January 12, 2021

The New Moon peaks on January 12, 2021 at 10:00pm MST here in Alberta, and falls at 23 degrees Capricorn. 🌑💫♑️ The Sun and Moon are conjunct next to Pluto (as well as quite a few other planets), bringing us deep soul growth. Hard work gets you to the top. Taking the easy way never does. Although we are feeling driven and ready to tackle our hard work, you also have to remember not to push too hard or you could create more resistance. There’s a certain amount of going with the flow that’s required, but I guarantee you will be feeling motivated to work on yourself, your work, and your inspirations and ideas. The hard work you put in now will pay off. You can’t force change, just for the sake of change. Follow the signs and your intuition. Use your emotions to guide you on how to handle the things that aren’t feeling right in your life. Use your discretion on what opportunities to pursue. Mars square Saturn can cause frustration, but Venus trine Uranus is going to help relieve that frustration. This New Moon, we will likely be shaken from our calm, causing us to have to make a decision. It’s the way the Universe motivates us to change. Luckily, we have positive aspects that are going to offset these challenges and help us to not only overcome them, but to learn and grow from them. There is a chance for a financial windfall, so keep your intentions super positive! It’s important to stay grounded and balanced to navigate this time. Connect to the Earth, to your family, and to your roots. Remind yourself of who you truly are. Just like the Capricorn Sea-Goat can swim the deepest depths and climb the highest mountain, you too can overcome your challenges. You are strong, and have learned and changed so much. There is no going back now, only moving forward. This Moon is a perfect time to set intentions, being the 1st New Moon of the year. 📝🌑✨

May 2020 Astrology

May is shaping up to be a much better month than March and April were. We are moving from Capricorn to Gemini energy. Capricorn is very serious and responsible, while Gemini is much more fun and light-hearted. May is all about Gemini energy. Gemini is the sign of the twins, and brings a balanced energy. It’s all about reclaiming balance in your life by setting boundaries where you need them and removing them where you restrict yourself. Saturn in Aquarius is a big focus in the current astrology. It is about reevaluating the current structures in our life. It’s themes involve social distancing and working from home. Aquarius is all about innovating our lives. Saturn moved into Aquarius on March 21, and because of retrograde it dips back into Capricorn from July 1-December 17, and then will move back into Aquarius again. This is important because it indicates that the things we are going through now, may be more ongoing than we might hope. There is going to be a new normal, and we are rebuilding our lives from the ground up. The Lunar Nodes changing are also a big event. They change signs every 18 months. They are telling us that our lives are changing. They are reminding us to appreciate the people and places that are close to us. We always need to appreciate where we are and what we have. Wonderment doesn’t always have to be found in the exotic… it is right here and now, in this moment, begging to be acknowledged and seen. Wanting you to truly understand what a gift this life is. Gemini is about communication, and it’s about us standing up for what we need, in order to create the life we desire. Gemini’s are very social and outgoing, and now is a great time to make new friends. Gemini’s are also very curious, so it is a great time to learn new things, and remember to learn by doing. Gemini’s are also very fun loving, playful, flexible and adaptable. Get out there, have fun, and try something new! If you have been feeling stuck or boxed in, getting out and having fun can help you regain the freedom you seek. How can you inject more playfulness into your life? With the mix of Capricorn and Gemini, it’s going to be a balancing act of responsibility vs enjoyment. Yes, these are trying times, and we have to take things seriously, but we must also remember that this life is about enjoyment. What is life if it doesn’t feel good?
