Reading for the Year Ahead – 2023

The crystals I am working with for this year are Aura Amethyst, Aragonite, and Garnet. I use these crystals to connect to the energy, to connect to the message meant for everyone who reads this, and to send you the healing energy of the crystals.

Aura Amethyst – All the benefits of Amethyst while linking to your heart. It is the stone of Universal light. Amethyst itself is meditative, calming and peaceful. It represents spiritual connections, elevation, psychic abilities, intuition, happiness and contentment. Amethyst is stone of sobriety. Aura Amethyst makes you feel more optimistic and joyful just by looking at it. It relaxes fears and lifts spirits. It is extremely calming and encourages peaceful thoughts. It heals tension in the body and reduces anxiety and negativity. Awakens the third eye. It helps you move on from past experiences, giving you a fresh, new perspective on life. Gives you the power to rise above limits and find success.

Aragonite – Encourages conservation and caring for the Earth. Assists healing and balancing of the emotional body, and help you to overcome stress and anxiety. They send light out in a variety of different directions, to create an outcome of heightened light and energy in their surroundings. They relieve anger and resentment, and they are known to help you if you have anxiety, stress or other negative emotional feelings. Increases energy. Boosts self-confidence and feelings of self-worth.

Garnet – A stone of regeneration and energizing. Boosts and revitalizes energy. A protective stone. Excellent for manifestation. It is used to ground one’s dreams in reality, bringing abundance, prosperity, and realization of those dreams. Builds one’s self-confidence, inspiration, and creativity. Considered a stone of increasing commitment, honesty, hope, and faith. It is a stone of positive thoughts which is said to dispel and relieve depression. Helps you feel emotionally free and peaceful. It lowers inhibitions and feelings of shame to embrace sensuality and sexuality.

My interpretation of the crystals:

This is an interesting mix of crystals. The Aura Amethyst feels very high vibe and light, the Aragonite is very solid and strong, and the Garnet is very deep and passionate. Life is a range of experiences, and this year will be no different, but we are coming into our own personal power in much healthier and stronger ways. We are seeing the light in our heart and becoming more willing to share our beauty and gifts. We are very intuitive and perceptive, not only with our 3rd eye, but also guided by our heart and soul. We are seeing how we fit into this puzzle and how we can contribute the world. When we rise into our power, we become so much more stable and sure of ourselves. It is so much easier to be happy when we love ourselves and see our worth and value, and treat ourselves well. Aura Amethyst is reminding us not to be distracted by substances or shiny things, that the happiness we truly seek comes from within no matter how much we have. It’s all about the way we choose to look at life. We can think that we are never enough and always push, or we can trust that we are enough and be happy and content in this moment without needing for more. We are more spiritually connected than ever, and we need to lean on spiritual practices such as meditation to keep us in the energy and mindset that we want to be in, to help us stay optimistic and feel joyful about life. It sounds much easier than it is… it can be easy to get overwhelmed by the expectations life and society places on us, so do your best not to subscribe to everyone’s else’s ways of living. We don’t have to be busy all the time. We don’t need to do things we don’t want to do. We don’t need to be more than we are now. Everything is fine. Things will be ok. Stressing out or worrying is only going to make things harder and bring you down into depression. It’s important that we stay as light and high-vibe as we can. It’s important that we go easy on ourselves. We do have so many reasons to be optimistic about the future. Life is good and blesses us in so many ways. It is time for us to move on toward our future and our highest potential. That’s why we cant afford to be held back by anyone or anything. Keep your focus on you as the most important priority. Keep making the choices you need for your highest good. It is time to move on from the past. We are so far beyond that now. Try to see things in new ways. You can rise above all of it and find the success you seek. That will be much easier to do if we are feeling good! See the light, share the light, and stay in the light as much as possible. We need to heal and see our true beauty, purpose, and light. If you are feeling angry or resentful, it’s definitely a sign that you need to change up something in your life. Start with yourself and working on improving your confidence and self-worth. In spiritual truth, it really doesn’t matter what anyone does to us, it matters how we respond and what we do for ourselves to change it or make it better. It’s time to see our worth and value so we can go out there and get it for ourselves. There is a strong feeling of independence this year, even if we are in relationships. We are understanding that no one can do for us, the things we need to do for ourselves. We need to get our energy back because we have lots of things to get done! Find ways to revitalize your energy. Protect yourself spiritually. Ground your dreams into this reality by taking steps towards them. We can realize our dreams and be abundant and prosperous. Keep believing in you and what you have to offer. Keep investing in yourself and healing. Utilize your inspiration and creativity. There is a feeling of growing in self-love, and when we do that, those around us will love us that much more too. Some of us will even come into deeper levels of commitment in relationships, but it’s really not about that in the end. All that matters is how we feel within, that we are happy, free, and peaceful. That we embrace all of who we are and what we love. That we allow ourselves to receive what we need. When we light the way in our own hearts, it spreads to the hearts of others like wildfire. How can you expect anyone else to love themselves, if you can’t? We also need to love the Earth, which is our larger body. We are making a difference, and we need to keep doing more to bring the entire planet and Universe into health and harmony. We are on the way, so keep moving and doing good things. Let’s see what the cards say!

My interpretation of the cards:

We are breaking through to new worlds and new perspectives. The Birch trees on the Ace of Swords Card represent birth and new beginnings. The Sword tells us it is time to cut the cords of the past. The Hawk shows us a new vision and perspective and helps us to see more clearly what’s ahead. Clarity is dawning and we have sharper focus. Cut yourself free from attachments or negative situations. Be productive and use your creativity, inspiration, and intellect. Use the Sword of reason to achieve success. We are going to come through victoriously. We are being reminded of our true power. We are co-creating this life. Yes, Spirit is all around us and guides us and supports us, but we also have choice and free will. The Egg tells me we have fertile dreams. The Cheetah shows me that it’s time to go after them. The Owl suggests that we be wise about our course of action and how we handle challenges along the way. We need to be wise about the decisions we are making for our future. We are manifesting and we need to use our creativity and inspiration. Create beautiful days to live a beautiful life. Think beautiful thoughts and choose to see the beauty. You are a product of Divine inspiration, and you have a purpose. It’s important you are listening to your creative inspirations. Know that you are a powerful co-creator and be proud of what you create. Keep your heart open and see your true beauty. The potential for manifestation is unlimited now. Stop trying so hard and just allow life to flow. Just be you and know that is more than enough. Ask for inspiration and take the first step. Spirit is here supporting us and doing their part in it all. There is an aspect of fate. Things will find a way, and it’s really about how we choose to get there and what perspective we will choose to see. Things are changing and sometimes they have to be shaken up to do so. Trust that everything will land where it needs to when you listen to your heart and intuition. We can’t see how we are going to get where we want to be, but we can and will find a way. Keep doing your part to make it happen. Accept the mystery of life and flow with it, see the beauty in it. This card also goes back to feelings of resentment and anger. We have to remember we can’t change or control what anyone else does, only what we do. Looking at the stars on this card, I hear the song “Yellow” by Coldplay. “Look at the stars, look how they shine for you”. This existence, this reality, it is only yours. It is up to you what you do and what you choose and how you look at it. Honor yourself above all else. Love yourself unconditionally. Know that any challenges that arise, you will be better because of them. You are going to flourish. Sometimes things are hard to accept, but fate is a mystery. Sometimes we can’t see the whole picture or why things have to happen as they do. The ways in which we respond to life’s circumstances is how we rise up to greet our destiny. Surrender to acceptance and trust. Life is going to get better, especially by giving yourself more love. The only thing you can control is your own attitude, and things are going to be and feel so much better with a positive one. There is a purpose in everything we have to go through. We did sign up for this and we have been through this before. Remember your gifts. Utilize your intuition and wisdom. If you feel guided to make changes in your life, trust that you are fully capable to do so. Be the wise soul that God intended you to be. Be a part of the change and the betterment of this planet. Learn from the past and usher in a new age. What a wonderful message for 2023! We are breaking through our past limits, and creating a beautiful, fated future together. Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of January 18, 2021

The crystals I am working with for the week are Desert Rose, Smoky Quartz, and Garnet. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Desert Rose – A stone of the mind, as well as Angelic stone. It is said to bring mental ability and clarity, as well as perception of all kinds, including intuitive perception. It helps you to make sense of things. Quiets worries and stills the mind from distractions. It rids the mind of outdated thought processes. A stone of strength and standing your ground. Helps you to have heart-centered thoughts and brings understanding one’s own emotional body.

Smoky Quartz – Protective and grounding. It removes negativity and transforms to positive energy. Enhances survival skills and helps one reach personal and business goals. It is used in making wishes come true by grounding their essence in reality. Therefore, it is a stone that brings abundance, prosperity, and good luck. It fosters cooperation in groups and supports their efforts energetically. It engenders creativity by bringing imaginative efforts to fulfillment. It also works energetically to assist in prioritizing needs and wants, and brings wisdom to every day life. Excellent for elevating moods, overcoming negative emotions, and relieving depression. It is a helpful stone for enhancing and encouraging courage and inner strength. Smoky quartz is very comforting and calming, and is considered a stone of serenity. It can be helpful in relieving grief.

We are feeling so stuck. I know for myself personally, I’m a homebody, and there are a lot of aspects I love about being at home. My son went through 3 years of treatment for leukemia and he still has some health issues going on, so we try to stay home as much as possible and take very little risk. No matter how you feel about what’s going on in the world, it is taking a toll us all. We have been restricted for so long… but this… this is the age of Aquarius, and we are now moving into the sign of Aquarius. Hopefully we will see some progress in many aspects of life. We have work to do. This is a time to put your ideas to paper and get creating. Get innovating. We’ve been in survival mode for too long. We need to see the way forward and work together to get there. We need to help each other. We need to demand a new way. Quiet your mind and see how you can shift your perspective, and what inspirations flow. Worrying is just a distraction, and serves no positive purpose. Quiet your mind. Centre your body. Shift your perspective to one of positivity. We are what we wish for. If you believe in magic, you will surely have a magical life. Have courage and strength. Make sure to take care of yourself. You can overcome this depression. The day will come when you have clarity, and you feel happy. Harness that and try to feel it more in your days. Remember that everything is going to be ok. It’s all going to be ok. The Garnet is helping you to get your spark back, to ignite your beautiful flame. It gives us the energy to move forward, create, love, and enjoy life. Our dreams really can come true, so make sure you keep dreaming. Dream and visualize all the time. Also, pay attention to dreams. I feel like people will be having lots of dreams, visitations and astral travel experiences. The Garnet wants us to stop thinking negatively about our lives. Embrace what we have. Keep building it up and staying positive, especially when it’s hard. Our dreams are coming true, so stay positive! Do your manifestations on the moon! Manifest your life everyday through your choices and actions. The Garnet to me feels like romance.. I feel like there will be lots of physical romance, but also feeling romantic about our lives… truly learning to love them deeply. That’s a beautiful thing. Can’t wait to see what the cards say!

Wow… these cards. I couldn’t help but smile when I saw the open window and all the rose petals on the last card… so much romance! You have to be willing to do things your own way.. a new way. You have to go against the grain and do things different. You might have to walk the path alone. It might appear very lonely. In truth, your path is filled with stars… with magical opportunities, love, happiness, joy… and you are making your way to a new reality… to an open window where you are free… where you are loved… where nobody wears a mask (figuratively or literally). The Elephants are a symbol of your hard work. You’ve stayed in line and done your part. You put the work in. With the Age of Aquarius, we are in a new time, and we need to challenge the status quo. We need to reinvent, reinvest, and reignite our passion for our lives and this planet. We are stuck because we’ve been forced to conform for so long, and it’s not going to be easy to break. It’s going to take time to travel a new journey, but it is Time to Go. It can feel scary taking a new path. It can be hard to let go of what we thought we knew… of what we thought was “right” for us. Everything isn’t lost though. In fact, nothing is truly ever lost. We always carry love in our hearts, like beautiful rose petals, that you can let flow anytime you feel. We are always connected on a deeper level, even when something appears to be gone. Look at everything you’ve learned. You’ve gained your wings. You are ready to fly… and your almost there. Your energy is electric and glowing, full of love for self. Walk forward with confidence and bravery. You are almost there. Bless where you have came from. Be thankful for the lessons and wisdom. Your destiny is calling you… be ready to answer the door. If there are things in your life, or people, that aren’t positive influences, it may be time to leave them behind. Endings are always a sign of new beginnings. Change your life and make space for new. If there is a situation you feel the need to leave, this may be your sign. What is going to be, will be. Destiny is always charting it’s course. Follow the signs and guidance, and be brave to make the choices that are best for you. Truth Be Told is about expressing your honest truth. This card makes me feel like people will be expressing emotions towards you, and how fitting with Valentine’s Day approaching. Accept your life. Come to complete acceptance of where you’ve been, and where you are going. Stop living in denial over the past. It’s time to get clear. The best policy is always an honest one. You can’t live an authentic life if you have things to hide. There is freedom in sharing the deepest parts of yourself. There is so much love for you, when you are willing to open up. The Owl is about communication, so expressing yourself is important, but it’s equally important to listen. Be confident and be you. Peel off any layers of fear or insecurity, and be authentic and gloriously flawed, and Spirit will answer with miracles. This is about letting go of limiting beliefs, especially about being deserving of love or money. You deserve to make your life a priority and fill it with abundance. Say no to dishonesty in all forms. Always acknowledge the truth. Set yourself free. Fall in love with your life, and be ready for the door. Have a beautiful week!

I’ve used these crystals together before, and it seems we were enduring tough times then as well. The Star Ruby is so freaking magical. The Star Ruby is swooping in like Superman and rescuing us from the dark energies that have been creeping in. It is reminding you of your true beauty. I know you’ve been feeling that spark within you lately… you KNOW there is so much greatness that awaits you… but there’s been so much other stuff going on… it’s been hard to fully embody all that we want to be. It’s been hard to live to our full power and potential. We are exhausted. We’ve been through a lot. Trust me.. I know. Anxiety and depression is high. There are a lot of people dealing with huge loss and heavy grief right now. There’s also been shifting in relationships and communication struggles. The Star Ruby is coming in to save the day and help us restore our energy. It wants to remind us not to take life for granted, and appreciate what we have now. It is going to assist with relationships and encourage closeness and commitment. It is restoring all kinds of passion. The Star Ruby is helping clear the energy, getting rid of nightmares and physical pain, and setting us back on track again. It is going to help us have a clear mind and be motivated. It’s going to help us with our confidence. It is going to propel us forward towards prosperity and achievement. It reminds us to appreciate all the small things we love each day. Star Ruby helps us to recognize the true abundance of life. The Smoky Quartz is for protection and grounding. It is helping transform negativity to positivity. It is helping us work towards the creative endeavours that make us happy. It is helping us to remember what we need to soothe ourselves through trying times. It is reminding us that even when life gets tough, the things we want still matter.. and in fact, may be more important than ever. We have to remember how strong we are. We can get through anything. Be courageous, and help yourself to turn the energy around every chance you can. The Garnet confirms that it’s time to get our energy back up. It’s time to realize our dreams. These crystals tell me that we can trust in our future, and we should think positively. Let’s see what the cards say!

Wow. I love this deck. It has so much deep wisdom. I was going to use 3 different decks, but these 5 cards came flying out, I turned them over and knew it was exactly the guidance we need right now. I know this is a sure sign from Spirit! The cards tell us that we need to take a break. We have been pushing so hard. You have to realize how important it is for you to take care of yourself and make sure you are happy. If you are exhausted and depleted, life is going to be so much harder. It will be so much harder to be happy. Remind yourself it’s ok to receive… it’s ok to take a break. It’s not only ok, it’s absolutely necessary. It’s the only way we can revitalize our energy. We need to look at our boundaries too. What are you spending your energy on? Are there things you say yes to, that you would rather say no? It’s ok to say no. It’s ok to conserve your energy, especially when things have been tough. Self-Love, Self-Love, Self-Love. The Leap card is about our dreams. We have to take the leap toward the things we truly want in life. Even if you can’t see what’s coming, be prepared to jump when the opportunity comes. The Universe is supporting us. Don’t let anyone hold you back! Allow yourself to be free. Share your creative talents. Put yourself and your work into the world to be seen. Share your voice and opinion. You have important knowledge, experience, talents and wisdom to share. Don’t be scared of what people have to say. Don’t ever allow yourself to be persecuted. Express yourself with courage and confidence. Please know that you don’t have to go through this alone. You have a wonderful support group of friends and family, and a Spiritual team guiding you as well. Turn to the people you love and trust, and allow yourself to be supported. Be open to connection. This is our time to shine, soul family. Things are going to turn around, so get preparing. Do what you can to turn your energy around, and take the leap towards all that you truly desire.

We are worn out. We are beat down. We’ve been reverting to unhealthy tendencies. We wonder how we could ever go on… but yet, we do… because of the spark deep down inside of us. The spark of life. The spark of love. The spark of creativity. The spark of Divine greatness. We all have it. Sometimes we lose our connection to it. Sometimes it barely flickers. Sometimes the light goes dim. Sometimes the world gets dark. Sometimes we get beaten down so bad, we wonder if we will ever see the light again, but yet, we always do. The spark is always there, even when we can’t see it. You always know, deep down, it is waiting to be tended to, waiting to be ignited, waiting for it’s moment, when you allow it to breakthrough and fully shine to the world, radiating all the beauty you hold inside you. Always keep the faith, that your spark will never diminish. Have faith that you will always be blessed with reasons to sparkle. No matter how bad things get, there will always be good things coming too. You have to look at the positives, that’s the only perspective that helps. It’s truly all about the perspective you hold in life. There is a reason for everything. I was just thinking today about how perfectly orchestrated the Universe is. It is beyond miraculous. It is something so much more. It’s Divine. It is time to honour the Divine that is our Spirit. It’s time for a fresh energy. It’s time to feel revitalized. Its time to take back our power. It’s time to tend to your spark and let it burn so brightly. It’s time to remember that good things are coming. In particular, I feel some healing coming in around relationships. Whether you are working on your relationship, or leaving it, finding your own power is always going to help you get through it. When you can find your spark, your relationships will too! Let’s see what the cards have to add for the week ahead!

If you want to achieve your dreams and go the distance, you have to do the work and make the repairs. It’s time to fix ourselves up and clean up our lives. Get them back on track. It’s very meaningful that the Mending Card is the last one in the deck, #52. It’s like, this is the last thing you have to do, and then it’s all good after that. It’s smooth sailing once you can make the necessary repairs. Just forgive and let go of the pain of the past. We can’t allow it to be an emotional burden and drag us into darkness. We have to mend our relationships, and our own wounds. Forgive your mistakes and honour them as the lessons they are. Nothing is ever wasted when viewed from a positive perspective. Heartbreak is a strange healer of souls. It pushes us to learn new things about ourselves and our perspective. It forces us to feel our raw emotions, and become more empathetic to the emotions of others. It forces us to find new strength, that we may have never knew we were capable of. Do the other work you need in your life, too. The Clean It Up Card seems to come up often, and it feels like, yeah.. we work out for a time or two, we try to eat healthy for a week, etc. but we aren’t doing enough. We need to get to the root of our issues and clean them out. We need to clean up our physical environment and feel fresh energy. We need to see things differently, to really make the changes we should be. Do what you can to get your own self in order, and you will see positive changes reflect in all of your relationships. All you can control is your own choices. You have what it takes to be a shining light, however you choose to shine. Life is full of obstacles, and it would be foolish to believe life will ever be without problems, but you DO have the power and strength to face anything that comes your way, so enjoy the ride. Isn’t that what it’s really about anyway?

Daily Angel Card Reading – December 3, 2016

The crystals I am working with for today are Garnet, Smoky Quartz and Hematite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you. 


Garnet – A stone of regeneration and energizing. Boosts and revitalizes energy. A protective stone. Excellent for manifestation. It is used to ground one’s dreams in reality, bringing abundance, prosperity, and realization of those dreams. Builds one’s self-confidence, inspiration, and creativity. Considered a stone of increasing commitment, honesty, hope, and faith. It is a stone of positive thoughts which is said to relieve depression. 


Smoky Quartz – A protective and grounding stone. Removes negativity and negative energy of any kind and transforms them to positive energy. It is also used in assisting in making wishes come true by grounding their essence in reality. Thus, it is a stone that brings abundance, prosperity, and good luck. Assists with creativity. Excellent for elevating moods, overcoming negative emotions, and relieving depression. Relieves stress, fear, jealousy, anger and other negative emotions by transforming them into positive energies. Helpful for dealing with grief. 


Hematite – Helps absorb negative energy and calms in times of stress or worry. A protective stone and very grounding. Hematite is also good for working with the Root Chakra, helping to transform negative energies into a more positive vibration. 

When I was choosing these crystals, I really thought they were very different, but in researching their properties it’s amazing to see how they carry such similar messages. The crystals are telling me that we are still in need of protection from stress, worry and depression. We need to continue working on turning our negative thoughts and actions into positive ones. We are manifesting at a very fast rate, especially with the new moon that just passed, and again, the crystals tell me that abundance and prosperity is right around the corner, but we need to keep positive. We need to hold on to faith and hope, and know in our heart that our dreams will come true. Anybody grieving today will benefit from the energy of the smoky Quartz. Let’s see which card will get drawn for today. 

Well, what is the best way to fight off stress and depression… Play! Have some fun! It’s the best way to feel good and stay positive. Yesterday, we were encouraged to get out of the house and have some fun. The message continues today. Yes, you probably have a lot of stuff you should be doing and working on. Try not to worry about that stuff. For today, just relax, have fun, laugh and enjoy your weekend. Lift your energy by allowing your inner child to have some fun and play. This is the way to finding balance in your life, so you can get back to your obligations feeling reenergized. When you are in a positive and happy space, you attract more of that in your life, and the card and crystals remind us that we can manifest much more quickly when living in a joyful state. We always worry about everyone else enjoying life and having fun, we need to remember that we are just as deserving as anyone else, and we deserve fun and happiness too. Let go of your obligations today and have some fun!

Play – The Angels see that you need to play, so they sent you this card. You’ve been working and worrying a lot lately, and your soul cries out for fun. Feelings of fatigue, irritability, or depression are additional signs that you’re overdue for some playtime. You don’t need to wait until you have a free moment, because you can inject fun into your day today. Simple pleasures, moments of silliness, laughing with a friend, or watching a funny movie are examples of ways to have fun that don’t require a lot of time or money. Fun and play are necessary parts of life for children and adults. These types of activities help us live healthier lives, and allow us to attain our desires more quickly. Fun is part of living a balanced life. Additional meanings for this card: Stop what you’re doing and go have fun right now. Release any guilt about having fun to the angels. You deserve happiness, pleasure, and enjoyment. Make sure that your recreational activities are purely fun and non-competitive.
