Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of January 5, 2020

The crystals I am working with for the week are Tiger’s Eye, Banded Agate & Picture Jasper. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Tigers Eye – A stone of protection that is also stabilizing and grounding. It enhances integrity, willpower, self-confidence, practicality and correct use of power. It is a stone that enhances good luck, and brings prosperity, often in the form of money. It can also help one see clearly without illusion.

Banded Agate – Called the earth rainbow. Increases concentration, honesty and memory. It helps bring spiritual experiences into everyday reality. Brings love to the chakras to rid negative energy.

Picture Jasper – The swirling patterns and banding that adorn Picture Jasper are said to be images from the past that Mother Earth is willing us to see. It brings and shows hidden messages from the past as well as hidden thoughts, fears, and hopes. Picture Jasper gives us the chance to see the bigger picture and move forward with courage and confidence. Use this stunning stone to begin a new business venture without the fear of failure. A stone of creative visualization, it can be an aide in bringing your goals and dreams into reality.

We are continuing to work through residual fears due to our past experiences in life. Things can feel so overwhelming and scary sometimes. What we have to remember is that this is just the surface. This is just an emotion we are feeling in this moment. What’s deeper than our fears is true love, acceptance and understanding. There is a reason we are working through these fears, so that we can learn the lessons we need to evolve. See the pain you’ve been through as lessons to propel you forward, and use them to help and inspire others. We are ready to level up, but there are just a few things holding us back. We are more aware of our fears, but we have to look deeper into why we are feeling this way, what we have learned, what the real truth of the situation is, and what you can do to move forward in the best way. Things usually aren’t as bad as we make them out to be. I’ve been through some of the worst situations a person can go through, but what I’ve learned is that life always goes on, and it is still good no matter what. The beauty is always there. The happiness will always return. Feel what you need to feel, but always know that things will get better again. Life is always worth living. The Tiger’s Eye is helping us see through this illusion of fear. When we can look at the big picture, we can see the truth… we can see beyond the pain in this moment. We can see that we are truly worthy of greatness and happiness. It’s really quite simple what is being asked of us. To walk with integrity, honesty and faith. No matter what. When we live a good, honest life… we will be rewarded. When we can have optimism and appreciation for life, it attracts good luck. There are good things coming for us, we just have to stay in a vibe of love and faith as much as possible. We have goals and dreams to achieve, and we can’t afford to let fear hold us back any longer. Be confident and put yourself out there. There really is nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Let’s see what the cards have to add!

Wow. These cards blow me away, as always! We are in this period of regeneration. We are growing back from where we have been burned. We are even flowering such beautiful flowers, and we aren’t even fully regenerated yet! Imagine what is possible for us when we are more healed and fully grown. Anything is possible. There is always another opportunity. Just as this tree grows from the lava and ash, we can grow through what we’ve been through. What has looked scary and damaged, is really providing new growth for us. Look at the Divine light shining down on the tree. God and the Angels are always providing us energy, magic and beauty. They are always supporting our growth. There is a hidden face in each of these cards, and it’s Spirit and our Ancestors guiding us always. Watch for the signs, and be grateful for them. You are never alone… and you are loved beyond measure. Things can look scary.. but in truth… we are blessed. Look around again, with a lens of love. See all the blessings in your life and be grateful. This week we have a Full Moon in Cancer, with a lunar eclipse. This Full Moon Eclipse is going to bring up a lot of turmoil, depression and drama. We are being called to protect ourselves, and protect others, especially those that are vulnerable. We want to do better than we are, and this Full Moon is going to bring up a lot of the oppositions we are experiencing. We are going to be hypersensitive to the energy. Please remember, we are experiencing this to become aware of what is holding us back, and we need to harness our deep knowing of the truth to see us through. The Owl is here to help us see the truth. When we remember that we are in control, and that life is always good, we can rise above the lower vibrations. Rely on your intuition to guide you through this week. Yes, it might get tough at times, but in truth, things are always working out in our favour. Trust your heart to lead you, because magic is about to happen. If you feel guided to create this week, through writing, art or music, etc., please do that. Our intuition is leading us toward the magic. All that you need is already within you. When you are feeling low this week, make sure to take some time for self-care. Love and nurture yourself through to better days, because they are coming. I promise.

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of April 22, 2018

The crystals I am working with for the week are Jet, Zebra Jasper and Galena. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Jet – Purifies and protects. Protects against sickness, negative energy and violence. Protects finances and business pursuits. Good for cleansing the aura. Has a calming energy and heals grief. Eases anxiety and depression, calming anxious or fearful thinking. Brings about inner growth, increase self-reliance, and ease change in any areas of life.

Zebra Jasper – Encourages us to stop considering failure as an option. Holds the energy of balance, uniting masculine and feminine, Yin and Yang. It also balances the chakras, and the physical, intellectual, emotional and etheric bodies. An anti-apathy stone. It allows you to be optimistic, despite life’s stresses and gives you more initiative to tackle those problems. Encourages you to dream and turn those dreams into reality. A grounding stone, allowing you to tune into Mother Earth and find joy in your surroundings.

Galena – A stone of harmony and self-transformation. Said to bring healing, calmness, efficiency, receptivity, communication and insight. Provides courage and strength. It is used for detoxification of all kinds.

It’s easy to fall into negative patterns, and let anxiety and fear take over. We have to stop considering these thoughts as true. When you find yourself thinking negatively, do what you can to turn it around and love yourself. We are sick of feeling crappy, so we have to be open to healing and allowing ourselves to be happy. We have to see ourselves as worthy, as truly deserving of the greatest blessings. We have to handle the stresses life throws us in the best ways we can. We are ready for change, ready to find harmony in our lives. We must think about what we truly want and dream of, and work on manifesting that into reality. Let’s see what the cards say for the week.

Life is constantly changing. Sometimes it’s hard to see the changes as they happen gradually, but be certain, things are ever changing. We are coming to a fork in the road. We get to decide which way we want to go. We have to think positively and see the outcome as we truly desire it to be. If we go along with everyone else’s choices, we never truly choose our own destiny or have a chance to live our own dreams. We have to stop following the monkeys and make a wise choice. We are almost at this fork, so right now we need to take some time to allow life to play it’s part in guiding us. We need to be open to guidance and signs. We need to allow life to provide for us, and be able to receive with grace. You can stop the flow of abundance by not being open to receive, if you continually insist on giving. Relax for a bit. Live without expectations and just allow. Allow the winds to continue to shift, and be ready to adjust your course. For now, make sure to get some extra rest. Let your dreams manifest, let your body heal, let your emotions be calm. Allow yourself space so inspiration can move through you. Take some time to fill your own cup. It’s hard to be in a good emotional space if you are exhausted, so go easy and allow yourself a break. Keep the faith and trust the Universe is conspiring in the best way possible for us. Things will line up and junctures will present themselves very soon!

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of February 19, 2017

The crystals I am working with for the week are Sunstone, Goldstone and Aragonite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Sunstone – Dispels fears and phobias. A leadership stone. Used to decrease stress and lift depression. Brings good luck and abundance, and turns negative energy into positive. It is said to be helpful in contacting animal or spirit guides. Used to increase physical and sexual energy and heal depression, phobias and stress related illness.

Goldstone – Helps attain goals. Helps to stay calm and stabilize emotions. It is an energy generator and deflects unwanted energies, making it useful for protection. Revitalizes the energy field.

Aragonite – Increases energy, especially with prayer. Boosts self-confidence and feelings of self-worth. Diminishes anger and relieves stress. It is helpful to those who need to release attachments and issues from the past. A good Earth healer, it encourages conservation of Earth’s precious resources. A grounding stone that creates a deeper connection to planet Earth.

I wasn’t sure which Angel Card deck I was going to use today, and I thought, I need to do an Animal Spirit Guide or Nature cards today. The crystals I chose are confirming that energy. They want us to connect to our Animal and Spirit Guides, and they want us to connect to the Earth. We need to deepen our connection to our Earth Mother. We have all grown from her and live on her land. We must take care of our home. The crystals make me feel like we’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, letting fears creep into our thoughts. The crystals are here to heal issues from the past, diminish the anger, stress and depression, and dispel our fears. They are going to help turn any negativity into positive energy. Not only will they boost our confidence to help us attain our goals, it looks like we have luck and abundance on our side as well! Let’s see what the cards say for the week.

I decided to pull two cards from the Earth Magic deck and one from the Animal Spirit Guide deck, both by Steven D. Farmer. The Winter Solstice card represents a time where we need to go within and reflect on our lives and find who we truly are. A time to reflect on everything we have learned and how that is going to help us in the future. The crystals are going to help us heal any past issues and transmute anything negative into positive. It is a reminder that we always must go through periods of darkness and times of quiet, but that the sun will return. It always does. Good times are coming. It is a positive time where we are getting ready to unfold, to grow into ourselves more confidently and fully. Our paths are going to unfold before our eyes. There are always going to be bumps in the road, and the Boar reminds you to face those problems head on. There is nothing you can’t handle. The cards and crystals want you to have confidence!! It’s a positive and abundant time, and you will emerge victorious!

Winter Solstice (Reflection) – The midpoint of Winter is not only the shortest day of the year, but it is also the longest night. The world is very still and the land dormant. Various “Festivals of Light” are celebrated, and have been for thousands of years, serving as a reminder that the light will indeed return. Throughout many cultures there are tales describing this time as the birth of the archetypal Sun King – including the Christian story of Jesus’s birth – representing the hope of renewal from the darkest period of the solar cycle. This image portrays a simple yet powerful representation of the winter solstice. We see a clear reflection of the snowy woods on the still, frozen waters of the lake. The blue tint drapes the scene with an even greater sense of quiet and solace, inviting us to walk very softly lest we disturb the intense yet gentle grace of this scene. The reflection of the trees on the frozen lake reminds us that this is a time for us to go inside – to both our physical shelter as well as our internal world – and there contemplate the season that has passed, the season that is, and the seasons yet to come. Review the past year and ask yourself what the most important lessons you have had to learn are, what you have accomplished, and what dreams and visions you want to manifest in the upcoming year. Whether it has been a relatively smooth ride or a challenging series of events, acknowledge your experience as being the work of Source, no matter what your judgments, fears, or joys are. Honour whatever has happened over the previous several months with gratitude and forgiveness. Then let it go. Allow yourself some solitude so you can spend some quiet, slow time in reflection. Once you feel complete, reflect on your present life, especially focusing on what you are grateful for. When you are finished, consider what is to come – all the different possibilities and potential that exist before you. Allow your imagination to roam without limitation or ambition, and see what shows up. Notice how you feel in your body with whatever scenario plays out in your mind. These are previews of that which is gestating, and can manifest and grow when cared for properly. Patience and stillness is called for here, for just as the Earth cycles have their own pace, so does this cycle.

Lotus Flower (Unfoldment) – The lotus flowers sits upon one of its leaves, having risen to the surface as the sun – held in the hand of God -invites it upward to the light. This unique plant is rooted in the mud and muck at the bottom of a body of water, it’s stem reaching up to the surface, where the leaves rest quietly. At night the flower closes and sinks below the surface, only to rise with the daylight and once again gradually unfold it’s petals, it’s stem extending above the waterline three feet or more. What we learn from this amazing plant is how our own spiritual path unfolds and opens to the light, then at times gently fold in on itself for proper rest when the daylight fades. This period is just as necessary as the growth, for it allows the plant to integrate what it has gained in nourishment during the day. It’s also just as important that it is rooted, and it is yet another miracle of Nature that something so exquisitely beautiful is formed from the mud and silt at the water’s bottom. Your spiritual unfoldment is occurring at all times whether or not you are aware of it. It is inevitable as long as you put your trust in the hands of the Creator, the one who holds the light. Like the Lotus, your soul is always reaching for the light to fulfill it’s karmic destiny, but even in that process there are periods of darkness and times to rest. It is a natural cycle, one that cannot truly be coerced or halted. It has an innate rhythm of its own, one that is unique to the being that is you. You do not need to strive or be driven by spiritual ambition. It does no good to try to force growth upon yourself – or others, for that matter. Allowing is the key here. Allow the place in you that naturally wants to follow the light to do so while recognizing that even when you have complete faith, you will face challenges and, occasionally, suffering. Your steady faith and love will guide you on your journey of returning to the light.

Boar (Pig) – Whatever difficulties you’re experiencing now, whether with a relationship, career path, or some other concern, dig in and rummage around until you discover how to solve the problem. Then take immediate action to remedy it. Every time you confront adverse situations in this way, you’ll be uprooting those elements in your life that appear to be obstacles to fulfilling your purpose. Life can sometimes be very uncooperative with your rational mind’s sense of order, and will at times even block your demands of how events or experiences should unfold. If you’re living on Earth, you’re going to get your feet muddy sometimes, but it’s no call for panic, crisis, or drama. Instead, take a couple of deep breathes and view whatever problem you encounter as simply something that needs to be taken care of. As the saying goes, there really are no problems – only creative possibilities. Once you have emerged victorious – which means that you either conquered your problem or changed your thinking about how you initially perceived the situation – you’ll experience a surge of power and confidence. Remember that your power originates from Source, expressed through you and as you. When you vanquished the illusion of the situation being a problem, you’ll not only feel a greater sense of relief and freedom, but you also open the way for your heart, mind, and soul to be more in alignment with the Will of Spirit. When you operate from that perspective, you can overcome anything! Associations: Courage; Hospitality; Earthiness; Self-reliance; Protection; Prosperity; Organization; Fierceness; Uprooting; Cleanliness; Determination; Balance; Security; Tenacity

Daily Angel Card Reading – November 27, 2016

The crystals I am working with for today are Mookaite, Amber and Rutile Quartz . I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Mookaite – It carries an invigorating frequency of strength and vitality, and increases Life Force within the physical body. An Aboriginal Mother Earth stone, it is a healing stone, and empowers one to feel and connect with the electromagnetic energy currents of the Earth. It enables one to utilize these positive energies to increase one’s will and focus one’s personal power. Mookaite promotes an ageless spirit willing to accept change and seek new experiences, and awakens one’s natural instincts in knowing the right direction to take.

Amber – Gives a soothing, light energy that is both calming and energizing at the same time. It is said to help manifest desires and heighten intellectual abilities, clarity of thought, and wisdom. It is reputed to cleanse its environment by drawing out negativity, and to relieve physical pain the same way. It is used mystically to bring the energies of patience, protection, psychic shielding, romantic love, sensuality, purification, balance, healing and calmness.

Rutile Quartz – Is reputed to be an energizing stone that helps get energy moving on all levels. Assists with mental focus. It is said to attract love and stabilize relationships. Rutilated quartz said to be particularly effective for getting things moving energetically. It can help slowed chakras return to normal spin and balance. It is reputed to diminish fears and be excellent at assisting with decision-making processes. It is said that it can also ease loneliness and relieve guilt thereby bringing happiness. It can help get out of a rut in life. Used for meditation, spiritual communications, and dream work.

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been experiencing a lot of physical pain, especially last night and today. The Mookaite is here to heal our body and soul. The Amber is going to draw out the pain and assist with healing. The Rutile Quartz is here to balance our chakras and stabilize energies. I also had crazy dreams last night, and I believe the Rutile Quartz is here to help understand the dreams, and also give us protection. Let’s see which card I will pull for today.

Again, two cards wanted to come. I pulled it out and I was sure there were 2 stuck together. They did not want to come apart! I debated on putting one back, but was reminded they are both there for a reason. I liked doing the readings weekly, as it gave a good overview of what we were going through at that time. Doing the readings daily, you do see a lot of the same messages carrying over, as we continue to deal with certain situations in our life. Honeybee is here today to remind us again, to give compassion and forgiveness freely to others. This is really a key to happiness. If we can just let go, forgive and heal, we can focus on moving forward in a positive manner. The crystals are definitely here today to help with healing yourself and regaining some balance in your energy. Another thing that helps with healing? Expressing yourself creatively. That is the message the unicorn delivers for us today. Have fun. Enjoy the weekend. Do something that indulges your creativity and imagination. Do something that brings out the magical side of you. Express yourself through whatever art you enjoy, such as singling, painting, ceramics or pottery, working with crystals, Christmas crafting, whatever it is that fills your heart up. Maybe it’s time to turn on the Christmas tunes and do some baking or crafts. I love the message the Unicorn brings. People always ask me why I don’t turn my photography or spiritual work into a business. I have gotten my feet wet, and learned exactly what the Unicorn is reminding us. We don’t always need to do things for money, money is not the reward. The reward is being able to express ourselves for who we are, instead of who we are expected to be. Once you make something a job, it takes the fun out of it. So today, no matter how you are choosing to express yourself, do so without any expectations and just enjoy the time you spend doing something you enjoy. Let go of anything that is holding you down, forgive yourself and others, and lift yourself up by being creative and indulging yourself!

Honeybee – To reap all the sweetness that life has to offer, focus on compassion and forgiveness. Compassion means that you have heart felt empathy for the suffering and misfortune of others, yet remain somewhat detached so that you don’t take on their sorrow and distress as your own. Forgiveness requires that you first acknowledge and accept responsibility for your judgments, rather than pretending they don’t exist or professing to always sustain a nonjudgmental attitude. The next step is to release those judgements. To do so, think of someone, past or present, with whom you have judgements or criticisms. Trust that the first person that comes to mind is the appropriate one to start with. Consider two or three specific criticisms that you have about this individual, preferably captured with one word, such as selfish or cold. Find a quiet place, go inside yourself, and look for that part of you that’s exactly like what you’re judging in that other person. It may be a very prominent part of yourself or a rather small aspect. You may identify it by recalling times when you behaved in ways that resemble what you’re criticizing. Once you discover that part of you, simply say to it: “I love you and forgive you”. If necessary, repeat this two or three times and notice any emotions that come up. In the coming days, be aware of any feelings that arise that may be associated with this experience. Practice this at least once daily for the next few days, and watch what happens. Associations: Productivity, community, cooperation, sweetness, love, compassion, forgiveness, rhythm, awakening, nature, poetry, mother goddess, royalty, nutrition

Unicorn – Whatever the artistic vehicle through which you express your most creative self, whether it’s drawing, poetry, painting, music, acting, or any other form of creative expression, make it a priority in your life by devoting some time, energy, and perhaps even money towards this artistic pursuit. Let the longing of your heart determine what the form of your imaginative expression is, but let it be one that elicits passion and purpose. Allow it to evolve as needed, without exceeding to any internal perfectionism about the end product. The process itself is where the magic is. Left that alone be your satisfaction and delight and you’ll be pleased with the results. Whether this avocation continues as a hobby or turns into something you receive compensation for, never do it only for the money. There’s no need to act out the starving artist scenario, but when you make monetary rewards your primary goal, you risk stifling the creative pulse that emanates from the core of who you are, potentially compromising the integrity of your artistic gift to the world. Should you ever be uncertain about following your passion with this kind of expression, take some time to observe children. Notice how innocently and imaginatively they play in their world, particularly when unhindered by social restrictions and artificial boundaries. This is a reflection of the magical child who’s inside you, begging to explore and be expressed. So have fun! Associations: Magic, mysticism, virtue, honesty, purity, inspiration, protection, restoration, manifestation, power, gentleness, humility, healing, unity

Angel Card Reading – Week of Feb 28, 2016

I don’t feel like this week will be perfect by any means, as we are being reminded to retreat and listen, and to open our hearts to have understanding for what we are going through. The first card this week, Fresh Air, has a few meanings for me. We moved out to the country, and the nature and space surrounding me has been so refreshing and replenishing for me. The trees, the stars, the birds and animals, it’s amazing out here. Since starting working full time again, the time I take for myself and connecting to nature has been less and less. This card today is a reminder for me, that exercise and fresh air is what I am needing. I’ll be heading out for a walk right after this reading! I got rid of my plants when we moved in the summer, as they were the same plants I had since I moved out as a teenager. Now that I am in my new home, I am missing my plants dearly, and I have been thinking about finding some new ones for my home for the last few weeks. This is a confirmation for me to get on it! I have also been dreaming about the garden I am going to grow this year, since I never had the proper space before. It also is a reminder to me to take time for my relationship… Which also gets put to the side, due to work, kids and life, and trying to fit it all in. So today (and throughout the week), spend time connecting to nature and making time for your relationships as much as possible too. The second card, Listen, reminds us that we are being guided all the time. When you are out in nature, be still, and take the time to listen to what everything around you is communicating to you. This is also a repeat card from a reading I did recently, so again, it’s a reminder to ease your worries, and listen to the guidance that comes. I am not sure if anyone else has been experiencing this, but for the last couple months, I have been having a ringing or buzzing in my ear happen quite frequently. I ask to hear guidance more clearly, and I do believe my ear chakras are opening more clearly to guidance, but I also feel like most of our guidance comes from our heart, from the way we feel. Take some time in nature, and feel the breeze on your face, touch the trees, hear the birds flying overhead, and listen to how you feel. Everything around us is sending us messages all the time, if we can tune into it. After I just spoke about listening to our heart, I realize the 3rd card is Heart Chakra. A perfect confirmation that the answers we seek rest in our heart. We may not understand the things we are going through, or why we have to learn the lessons we do, or even understand the lesson being taught to us at all… But the more you tune into your heart, the more you can understand, and find peace and joy. It is safe to open your heart at all times! Don’t live in fear of a broken heart, because the lessons we learn are so much deeper than what we think we are experiencing. (As my left ear starts ringing!!) This card is also a repeat card, so anyone who has had it before, it is a reminder to keep working on opening that heart up more and more!

Fresh Air – The Angels sent this card to you because you need some fresh air. You’ve been indoors far too long, and your body and soul crave oxygen. Open the windows in your home and office to air them out, then go outside and breathe deeply. If you live in the city, make an escape to the country as soon as possible to breathe some much-needed fresh air. Keep plenty of live plants in your home and office to ensure steady circulation of oxygen. Get some sunshine, or maybe take a trip somewhere sunny. Spent time around trees and plants. Bring some “fresh air” into a stale situation or relationship.

Listen – You received this card because the Angels wish to get their messages through to you. They ask that you talk less and listen more. (When we are stressed, we tend to chatter out of nervousness.) Give your worries to the Angels, and trust that they have heard your prayers. If it seems they’re not answering your prayers, it’s probably because your not listening to their answers. So retreat to a quiet place with the intention of listening to your Angels. Then close your eyes, breathe deeply… And listen. Your hearing is becoming more sensitive because you’ve been tuning in to the Angels. Clear your ear chakras by visualizing light clearing the area above each eyebrow.

Heart Chakra – The Angels gave you this card because the answer to your question rests within your heart. The more you open your heart, the more love, joy, and peace you’ll feel. You can open your heart chakra by asking the Angels to send their healing energy, by visualizing your heart surrounded by pink light, by inhaling the fragrance of pink roses, by holding or wearing Rose quartz crystal, and by focusing on love. Send light and love to your heart chakra.
