TV Show Review – Last Man on Earth – 4.3/5

It has been a while since I’ve done a TV Show review! Mostly I’m watching my usuals, Survivor and Big Brother, etc., but this show really caught my attention and I don’t think it’s as well-known as it deserves to be, so I wanted to share it with you!

The premise: In 2022, a cataclysm strikes Earth, seemingly wiping out the population, except for former family man and bank employee Phil Miller. Sad and very lonely, Phil travels the United States, Canada and Mexico in his RV searching for other survivors. Striving to hold onto hope that there is at least one other living person, he tries to make the best of circumstances until his path finally crosses with that hoped-for other survivor — and all becomes more comforting that the person happens to be a woman. As more survivors turn up, complications arise and Phil finds it difficult to co-exist with others again.

Will Forte stars as the main character, Phil Miller, and has a wonderful comedic delivery that he brings to the character and series. The rest of the cast are wonderful too! This show is the epitome of the end-of-the-world concept, where everyone is being taken out by a virus, so the rest of the world remains intact to act as a playground for the few survivors. They also find themselves in plenty of predicaments.

The show has a 4 star rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 95% liking on Google. Unfortunately, it has not been scheduled to return for a 5th season, although I do believe its popularity is gaining since it has been airing on Netflix. I seriously love this show, and I know you will too! I would rate this show a 4.3 out of 5! Make sure you check it out!

TV Review – Bachelor in Paradise

IMG_1175.JPG

Honestly, I never used to watch The Bachelor. I would watch the occasional episode, but it was all so phony and not my thing. I have to say, I got hooked on the season with Desiree, then couldn’t stand Juan Pablo and couldn’t get into that season, then I loved the season with Andi the most. I guess I like watching The Bachelorette, just not The Bachelor, ha ha. I can say I will be glued to next season of The Bachelor, Chris is such a nice man, I can’t wait to watch him find love. A lot of the cast of Bachelor in Paradise comes straight off Andi’s season, guys who were so sweet and that I wanted to see find love, like Tasos, Cody and Marcus!! So far, it seems like things are going good for them, so let’s hope the season closes out good for those guys!! There has also been some sleeze and some catiness, and a guy so repulsive he had to go on a date alone, but the drama makes for interesting tv I suppose. I actually have really enjoyed this show, I really like Clare, she has a lot of class. I also like Zach, even though I feel he’s kind of wishy washy. I guess I just love seeing people trying to fall in love and deal with all the twists and turns that come in life, like other women and men, lol. Never the less, an entertaining watch. If you haven’t been watching, there is still time to tune in! I would rate it a 6.8 out of 10. This blog is just my opinion!

TV Review – The Bachelorette

With the finale of The Bachelorette approaching tomorrow, I thought I should post my review of this season. I usually never get into The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but this season struck a cord with me. Andi was so relatable. All the guys were exceptionally amazing… Well, all except one. Hmm hmmm… Andrew… Cough cough.. The guys were so great this season, it just kept me watching and watching, week after week. It made me feel the romance and feel the love. It was like a journey seeing all the beautiful places they went, I felt like I was there too! It broke my heart to see Tasos broken hearted, and Cody, and then Chris… Those were some real heartbreakers for me… It’s funny though, she said how she was doing this process to meet guys she wouldn’t normally meet or go for. To me, it seems like she chose exactly the guys she would normally go for. Chris and Marcus were both sweet, and both the type of guys you wouldn’t have to fight with. I know, I know. We like who we like… I am just like her! I guess that’s why I was rooting for the other guys. Sometimes the challenges keep life interesting, if everything is easy, is it really fun or unique or worthwhile? Anyway! I wish Andi the best and hope everything works out amazing for her, I am sure it will. Her and Josh would have cute babies!!I (Can you tell I’m a Josh fan over Nick? But I wouldn’t put money on that! Who knows who she will choose!) The finale airs tomorrow evening on ABC. I loved this season, I would give this season in particular a 6.5 out of 10. That’s just my opinion! Thanks for stopping by! TV Review – House of Cards Season 2

Image

During the past week I haven’t been watching much of anything besides House of Cards Season 2 on Netflix. Whenever I get any time for shows, that’s all we have been watching. I have to admit, I only watched bits and parts of Season 1. I tried so hard to resist watching a boring show about politics, but it is undeniably good, and I am now hooked and will probably go back and catch up on Season 1. It is just a well written and well produced show. Dramatic and powerful. Characters that you love, and love to hate, and everywhere in between. Interesting story lines, and I love a show that walks a blurry line, exposing grey areas and making you consider different viewpoints. I think I have loved then hated Frank about 3 times in the ten episodes I have watched. I still have 2 more to go, but I can already tell you they are going to be great and I can’t wait to watch them!! I’d give this show a 9 out of 10. Its pretty darn good. This blog is just my opinion! Thanks for stopping by!!
