Super New Moon in Aquarius – January 21, 2023

On Saturday, January 21, 2023 peaking at 1:53pm MST, we have a Super New Moon at 1°32’ in the sign of Aquarius. 🌑✨♒️

This New Moon is an important time to set intentions and make decisions for the best interests of our future.

What do I really want going forward in my life? Where do I want to focus my efforts and energy? What would be the best next steps to help attain my goals?

Aquarius is very forward-thinking. Aquarius considers the future from an individualistic perspective, and how that impacts the collective as a whole.

This New Moon reminds us that the work we do on ourselves and this planet has an impact on the greater good for all. It is about seeing your light within, even in the darkness, and using it to do your part to shine along with others and make the world better and brighter.

It’s important that we all work together because we are all important pieces of the puzzle of life, and we all have a part to play as we move forward into the future.

Micro Full Cold Moon in Gemini – December 18, 2021

On Saturday, December 18th we have the last Full Moon of the year! We have a Micro Full Cold Moon in Gemini peaking at 9:37pm (MST) here in Alberta. 🌕✨♊️

It is called a Micro Moon because it as at its furthest point away from Earth, called Apogee.

Gemini, being the sign of the twins, asks us to acknowledge other sides of ourselves and send love to them, especially the sides we deny and hide. This can take the form of shadow work and inner child healing.

This Moon is asking us to take a broader perspective of our lives and who we are, and to find balance between the physical world and the spiritual. We are being asked to have compassion not only for ourselves, but for everyone and everything on our planet.

Gemini is a sign all about thinking, communication and mind power. This is a great time to use your thoughts and ideas as a force of good, as a catalyst for positive change in your life. As our perspective expands, so do opportunities.

New Moon in Gemini with Total Solar Eclipse – June 10, 2021

We have a New Moon in Gemini with a Total Solar Eclipse coming up June 10th! 🌚✨ Peak time for the New Moon in Alberta (MDT) is 3:54am, with max eclipse time 4:41 am, although it will only be visible if you are far enough North. It will be fully visible from parts of Russia, Greenland, and northern Canada. Northern Asia, Europe, and the United States will see a partial eclipse.

Our New Moon is at 19 Degrees Gemini. It’s Gemini season! Gemini deals with intellect, curiosity, communication, and play.

Solar eclipses are like a New Moon on steroids. Make sure you are setting clear intentions for the type of life and energy you want going forward. This is another chance to start again… and yes, we’ve had lots, and we will continue to have lots, but every small change you make matters.

We have been pondering and evaluating who we are now, and what do we want out of life? Things are going to be actively shifting and changing, and there are going to be discussions and decisions to be made. We have a lot of options though, so it’s normal to feel a little overwhelmed.. especially when we wish we could see the complete picture right now. Get comfortable being a little uncomfortable.

Try to let go of the stress by holding faith in the Universe. There is no rushing ahead, we must have patience. We are extra intuitive and sensitive with the opposition of Neptune in Pisces. Keep reminding yourself that things are coming together, and feel your way through it. Follow your intuition when it encourages you to try new things.

Mercury is conjunct to the Sun and Moon on this day, meaning right next to them, and Mercury is currently retrograde. This is going to intensify communications. It’s up to you if you allow that to be in a positive or negative way. Stay out of the arguments and power struggles. Remember that there is nothing to be won or lost. Stay in your own energy and keep it as high as you can.

This is a time to have patience and to go with the flow, as the pieces start coming together. We can’t see the whole picture now, but we can choose to put together the pieces we do have with love and intention.

This is going to be a good time to chat with your friends and ponder all the questions of life. It’s also going to be a good time to be creative and read or write… or do a Moon Magic Worksheet!! Learning should be enjoyable and fun.

Things are going to be speeding up, so try to enjoy a little rest, relaxation, play, and exploration while you can.

Full Strawberry Moon in Sagittarius with a Lunar Eclipse – June 5, 2020

We have a Full Moon in Saggitarius with a Lunar Eclipse coming up on June 5th! The eclipse will not be visible in North America. The effects of the Full Moon/Eclipse will last 2 weeks until the New Moon/Solar Eclipse/Summer Solstice on June 21. Even though there is so much craziness going on in the World… there is still so much good. Each one of us has a responsibility to contribute to the greater good. We are being called to step out of our comfort zones, and move forward. To stand up for our beliefs and to harness our full power. We are seeking a more Spiritual understanding to help us navigate these times and challenges. Listen to your emotions and find the underlying issues. Do the work to release them and allow yourself to be cleansed and refreshed. This Full Moon is the time when we need to let go of everything that isn’t serving us, so we can make room to manifest new opportunities and set new intentions when the New Moon comes on June 21. These next 3 Moons all have eclipses with them, so this is a perfect time to reset and charge forward. Relationships are going to be a point of contention, which is no surprise with everything else going on. We need to honour, express and respect our emotions, in a way that isn’t destructive towards anyone else. We need to find patience and unconditional love. True compassion is the kind of love that forgives the unforgivable. That’s how relationships will stay strong through the clearing of new pathways that is preceding us. Follow your intuition to help you recognize doors that are being opened up for you. Communication is very important, so make sure to put yourself out there and meet new people. I always say, every person you meet matters. The Lunar Eclipse is occurring at 14 degrees Sagittarius, which happens to be the direction in which our galaxy is being pulled towards, also called The Great Attractor. I feel like this is an important time in our evolution and we are attracting the energies we put out. The more of us who can stay positive and peaceful, the more peaceful existence we can experience. Nobody is doing themselves any good by looting the city they live in, in the country they should love… and they definitely aren’t putting out an energy of positivity! We have a choice that we have to make. Do we want to go down this path? Or do we choose something else for our future? You get what you give and you attract what you put out there. I guarantee if you follow the path of positivity, so many doors will be opening for you. As always, we can and will get through this rollercoaster of an eclipse season, and we will be better off for it. Do the best you can to make the most of it! ✨🌕🙏

May 2020 Astrology

May is shaping up to be a much better month than March and April were. We are moving from Capricorn to Gemini energy. Capricorn is very serious and responsible, while Gemini is much more fun and light-hearted. May is all about Gemini energy. Gemini is the sign of the twins, and brings a balanced energy. It’s all about reclaiming balance in your life by setting boundaries where you need them and removing them where you restrict yourself. Saturn in Aquarius is a big focus in the current astrology. It is about reevaluating the current structures in our life. It’s themes involve social distancing and working from home. Aquarius is all about innovating our lives. Saturn moved into Aquarius on March 21, and because of retrograde it dips back into Capricorn from July 1-December 17, and then will move back into Aquarius again. This is important because it indicates that the things we are going through now, may be more ongoing than we might hope. There is going to be a new normal, and we are rebuilding our lives from the ground up. The Lunar Nodes changing are also a big event. They change signs every 18 months. They are telling us that our lives are changing. They are reminding us to appreciate the people and places that are close to us. We always need to appreciate where we are and what we have. Wonderment doesn’t always have to be found in the exotic… it is right here and now, in this moment, begging to be acknowledged and seen. Wanting you to truly understand what a gift this life is. Gemini is about communication, and it’s about us standing up for what we need, in order to create the life we desire. Gemini’s are very social and outgoing, and now is a great time to make new friends. Gemini’s are also very curious, so it is a great time to learn new things, and remember to learn by doing. Gemini’s are also very fun loving, playful, flexible and adaptable. Get out there, have fun, and try something new! If you have been feeling stuck or boxed in, getting out and having fun can help you regain the freedom you seek. How can you inject more playfulness into your life? With the mix of Capricorn and Gemini, it’s going to be a balancing act of responsibility vs enjoyment. Black New Super Moon in Leo – July 31, 2019

We have a New Moon in Leo coming up. It’s called the Black Moon because it is the 2nd New Moon this month, and it is a Super Moon because it is closer to Earth. There has been a lot of dark, challenging energy lately. This New Moon is here to remind us, that we have the power to choose what we do with the energy. Do we wallow in the darkness?
