Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of January 28, 2018

The crystals I am working with for the week are Smoky Quartz, Ruby on Matrix and Tiger’s Eye. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Smoky Quartz – Protective and grounding. It removes negativity and transforms to positive energy. Enhances survival skills and helps one reach personal and business goals. It is used in making wishes come true by grounding their essence in reality. Therefore, it is a stone that brings abundance, prosperity, and good luck. It fosters cooperation in groups and supports their efforts energetically. It engenders creativity by bringing imaginative efforts to fulfillment. It also works energetically to assist in prioritizing needs and wants, and brings wisdom to every day life. Excellent for elevating moods, overcoming negative emotions, and relieving depression. It is a helpful stone for enhancing and encouraging courage and inner strength. Smoky quartz is very comforting and calming, and is considered a stone of serenity. It can be helpful in relieving grief.

Ruby on Matrix – Helps you find new paths in life and gives you the energy you need to walk them. Helps to transform one’s life to a more desirable state. Useful when we need some help to find a new path, a new approach, or in any quest to gain that which we desire but do not yet possess. Helps you to realize love within yourself and express emotion.

Tigers Eye – A stone of protection that is also stabilizing and grounding. It enhances integrity, willpower, self-confidence, practicality and correct use of power. It is a stone that enhances good luck, and brings prosperity, often in the form of money. It can also help one see clearly without illusion.

Last week, I did not listen to the message from my reading. I knew before I did the reading that things were stirring in my life, and I just couldn’t keep my calm. My reading said to keep your peace and relax, and not let negativity get to you, or you will experience more of the same. I let the negativity of other people’s issues and drama affect me. It spiralled in my life and everything around me started to reflect negativity back to me. It was hard to miss the lesson, in fact, Spirit wasn’t going to let me miss it. What other people choose to do is on them, and all I can do is make my own decisions in this life. In every reading I see, there is a message of change. It is a scary thing for me, as I rely hugely on stability in my life. The Smoky Quartz is here today to give us strength to help us through the issues we are facing. It remind us of the many wonderful things that are to come, even if things are difficult now. The Ruby on Matrix is going to help us walk our new path, to transform our lives and see things in a new way. It reminds us to love ourselves and express our emotions. The Tiger’s Eye is here to ground us and keep us protected. It is going to give us the willpower to make the necessary changes in our lives. It is going to help us to see the situations in our lives clearly, so we can move forward with integrity and confidence. Let’s see what the cards have to say for the week.

I have been dragging my butt doing the reading this week. It’s been a tough week for me. I have been avoiding the things I need to hear, because they aren’t always easy to swallow. I have been avoiding a lot of things to be honest. We always want to hear that things are going to be perfect and amazing, but what would we learn from life if they were? Ever since the fall, I had been seeing fox energy. I knew there was deception from someone in my life, and the signs have been there for months… that things need to change… that things are going to change. There have been messages of seeing the truth, and I’m realizing how much easier it is to stay blind. The Universe is calling me to make the changes I need to in my life, and it’s unavoidable. Exchanging Gifts is about giving and receiving. You deserve to receive the love you give. In fact, you need to receive as much as you give. We can’t always do everything and constantly give, or we get way off balance… insert negativity, resentment and depression here. Look how perfectly balanced and elegant the ballerina is, knowing she is a gift to the world, not letting anyone keep her tucked away in a box. This card again reminds us, there is no need to prove what we deserve. We don’t have to fight for people to see us for the beautiful gifts we are. Let yourself out of that box. The Leg Up Card is reminding us that even though you feel alone now, life will always present us with the perfect people on our journey. It again, reminds us to accept the help given from others, being able to receive graciously. I am the worst for needing to do everything myself. Feeling that others won’t be able to handle it, or that they will be unhappy if they had to do all the mundane work that is required. I’m truly lacking trust in my life, in so many areas. This card is a reminder that we don’t have to do everything on our own, and that this mentality isn’t serving our highest good. We deserve to be helped. We deserve a break. We deserve friendship and support. We deserve someone to have our back and give us a leg up. We need to remember how deserving we are of all the pretty pink gifts life has to offer. Before I flipped the cards, I noticed the back of the cards all have the beautiful image from the Round and Round Card, and I contemplated the circular nature of this image. Of course this would stick out to me before receiving this card. We have been through this before, and have not completely integrated the lessons. We need to see things from a new perspective, or we keep going around and around getting nowhere… staying stuck in our box. How did I get here again? Honestly, after all I’ve been though, and all I’ve done, I can’t believe I’m still facing these types of issues. I can’t fight for what I deserve anymore. I only have one choice left, and it is to make the changes I need so I don’t ever have to go through this again. It’s time to take ourselves out of this equation altogether. You have the power to stop going around and around, and you have the key to your freedom. Be good to yourself. Make the choice to change the cycles that have gone on in your life. It may be hard, but it’s clearly going to be worth it.

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of December 3, 2017

The crystals I am working with for the week are Shattuckite, Larimar and Labradorite. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Shattuckite – A strong psychic communication stone. Facilitates a stronger connection with your Spirit guides, teachers, and loved ones that have passed on. Assists in the development of psychic visions, intuition, Mediumship and channeling. Assists with reconciliation and renewal. Used to channel information and is used for automatic writing. It is said to calm the mind and create harmony.

Larimar – Known as the “Dolphin Stone”. It is a stone of “answers from the sea of consciousness.” The blue color of the larimar reflects the “sea” of all consciousness, which gives freedom from self-imposed limitations and a sense of peace in finding truth. It has ability to enhance communication in general, with animals as well as people. A stone of serenity, love and peace. Larimar is good for calming and balancing energies. It can help one maintain one’s personal energy and independence in a calm, collected fashion.

Labradorite – A stone of transformation and magic. Clears, balances and protects the aura. Provides clarity and insight into your destiny. Attracts success. Reduces stress and anxiety. Increases intuition, psychic development, and esoteric wisdom. Helps with subconscious issues, and provides mental illumination.

The way I see it, the full moon is like a peak of a rollercoaster for us. We are finally getting over the hill, and can enjoy the ride for a bit. We may be scared, and we still have more to go, but if we overcome the fear we can experience so much joy. We need to go with flow a bit, and let go of control and let life lead us. This full moon is allowing us to sink a bit deeper into who we are. Communication is strong during this time, in every way. Connecting spiritually, communicating with those around us, and even through our writing, it is all heightened during this time. This would be an ideal time for song writing. It would also not hurt to write down some things you want to release during the full moon. There is much magic in the air, and allowing your issues to be released through writing is extra powerful right now. The moon is illuminated, and so are we, so use this energy to process your emotions and express your light through your writings and communication. Let’s see what the cards say for the week ahead.

We are still in this period of transformation. Life is always transforming and evolving, but right now is a time of rapid change and growth. This could mean very tough lessons and life transitions. Channel and release your emotions through writing. We are reminded that although these changes may be tough, they are for the best. We need them to become the people we are meant to become. Looking back on my life, I always wanted everything to be easy and simple, thus, life was very complicated for me. These experiences pushed me and allowed me to grow in ways I couldn’t have if my life were simple and easy. There is always a positive and negative aspect to everything. You have to try to remember the positive. It may feel like trudging through mud right now, but when you look back, you are going to see how far you’ve come. You are gifted, and prosperity has been in the cards all week. You have every reason to trust in your life and love yourself. Everything is going to work out in the way it is supposed to, even if the reasons can’t be seen. If and when you need support, remember that you always have true friends around that will support you through anything. Going through issues in life can feel very isolating, so make sure you have support. Trust in the process of life. Let yourself feel joy. Everything is going to be ok.

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of December 18, 2016

The crystals I am working with for the week are Jet, Apache Tears, Blue Goldstone and Black Tourmaline. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Jet – Purifies and protects. Protects against sickness, negative energy and violence. Protects finances and business pursuits. Good for cleansing the aura. Has a calming energy and heals grief. Eases anxiety and depression, calming anxious or fearful thinking. Brings about inner growth, increase self-reliance, and ease change in any areas of life. Used to treat ailments ranging from epilepsy, migraines, colds, lymphatic problems, congestive heart failure, tumors, toothache, stomach pains, menstrual cramps, fertility of male and female, scrofula (lymphatic tuberculosis), clinical depression, manic-depression or bipolar disorder, liver, kidney, and glandular problems.

Apache Tears – The Legend of the Apache Tear is this: One day a party of Apache Indians was ambushed by an enemy tribe. The Apaches fought bravely but were greatly outnumbered and driven to the top of a high bluff. Their arrows gone and unable to fight and unwilling to be taken captive, they leaped from the cliffs to their death. Their women were understandably grief-stricken and wept over the bodies. Their teardrops froze when they hit the ground to become the lovely stones we know today as Apache Tears. It is said that whomever owns one of these stones will never cry again, for the Apache women shed enough tears already. Apache Tears are said to relieve grief and sadness. They assist in giving and accepting forgiveness. They can help release negative emotions and balance one’s emotional state. They are good luck stones, said to bring good luck to anyone who has one. Apache Tears are a gently grounding stone. Apache Tears are reputed to alleviate muscle spasms and eliminate toxins from the body.

Blue Goldstone – A good deflector of unwanted energies. Highly regarded as a protection mineral. It is a nervous system stimulant and enhances transmission of healing energies from the hands. Protects the psychic and empathic sensitivities. While this is technically a man-made piece, it does contain copper, which in itself is extremely helpful in the areas of inflammation and increasing ones blood flow.

Black Tourmaline – Grounding stone. A well known purifying stone that deflects and transforms negative energy. It can transform and remove negativity from an individual or an environment. It is often used as an aura cleanser, and can help one attain higher levels of awareness. Also used for repelling and protecting one from black magick, evil spirits, and is often said to return the negative spell to the sender. Deflects EMF radiation from tv’s, computers, etc.

You can tell by the crystals that we are moving into the Christmas season. A time when we need to be protected from energies around us. A time when we need to protect ourselves from negative energy. You may be experiencing anxiety or grief during this season, and these crystals are here to help you ease those emotions. We are also being reminded of purification, so be mindful of overindulging or doing things that are harmful to your mind, body, spirit. Let’s see what the cards have to tell us for the week.

The cards tell us to have faith and trust this holiday season. Try to let go of worry and stress, and know everything will work out. Turn to your trusted friends and family to get support. Take time to rest and rejuvenate yourself. Give yourself love instead of feeding yourself worry. When you allow yourself rest and give yourself love, you can trust in the universe will provide all the resources you need. Relax and enjoy the holiday season!

Camel – Sometimes it feels like your on a journey across a vast, lifeless desert that stretches beyond the horizon with no end in sight. Traipsing across the seemingly barren landscape before you, your thirst for comfort and solace during these times can most readily be satisfied by looking to your inner resources. All the experiences you’ve had in your life time, the challenges you’ve successfully faced, and the wealth of knowledge you’ve accumulated can be called on to not only cope with any type of adversity that presents itself, but to help you move forward with courage and determination. First, identify where you want to go and then proceed slowly, steadily, and deliberately toward that objective. As you move along, castaway your fears, doubts, and hesitations wherever they arise, letting the four winds lift them up to the sun to be burned away. Ease your mind and heart, and know that all is well and that you’re protected at all times. Call upon those helping spirit to have assisted you up until this point in your journey. You have what it takes, and you will get through this! Associations: Resourcefulness; Determination; Steadiness; Fortitude; Endurance; Stamina; Focus; Optimism; Containment; Centeredness; Adaptability; Equality; Justice; Strength; Survival; Replenishment; Positivity; Accomplishment

Meerkat – The people in your life would love to offer their support to you, your only job is to receive it and, indeed, sometimes even ask for it. Those whom you feel closest to and trust the most are the individuals you can rely on to be there for you, especially when you really need it. People who are dealing with dire illnesses and have the support of friends and family members usually fair the best, however, you certainly don’t need to experience such an extreme situation to take advantage of the love and care that others have to offer. Write down a list of names of people you trust the most, and then go back through it and identify three traits in each of these individuals that makes you trust them. When you’re finished, you’ll not only have a good idea of the qualities in those you rely on, but you’ll also have a clear notion of the characteristics that make a person trustworthy in your eyes. Sure, you’ve been burned or disappointed at one time or another when you trusted someone and were let down or betrayed. Everyone has experienced this. So now you may be afraid that if you let others in and count on them for support, something similar will happen. Those memories, consciously or subconsciously, will not only filter out any chance of being disappointed or hurt, it will also serve to keep others who are trustworthy at a distance. Look under that filter and listen to what your gut instinct tells you about a particular individual. How do they match up with the list of characteristics you find trustworthy? Take a chance and let yourself receive love and support. Associations: Family; Community; Group Support; Vigilance; Observation; Intelligence; Energy Conservation; Communication; Resilience; Protectiveness; Grooming; Playfulness

Goose – The irony of this is that by restricting and conserving your energy, you can actually mobilize your internal resources for the next cycle of work and accomplish that much more. In this fast-paced world with all of its pressures that impinge upon you, it’s difficult to take regular periods of time off, yet it’s critical to your health and well-being to do so. Let this rest period be an opportunity when you do the things that help your body recover from the stresses and strains of your most recent activities. Sleep in, get a massage, spend some time playing with a friend, take a salt bath, get out of town and explore the woods, anything that will bring you peace of mind. At the conclusion of a long spell of continuous, stressful activity, even when it has been productive, many people don’t allow themselves a period of respite, and instead jump into another task right away without relaxing and enjoying the fruits of their labor. It’s most unnatural, but in a caffeinated society were technology has created instant access to phones, emails, and Internet, it’s easy to give away your power of choice by reacting to a false sense of immediacy and urgency to these trappings of civilization. Turn off your phone and computer, and enjoy the sunset. These periods of rest needn’t be lengthy, but you do need to implement them, especially right now. Associations: Perseverance; Migration; Levelheadedness; Loyalty; Family; Determination; Resourcefulness; Quest; Integrity; Purposeful; Imprinting; Compassion; Conservation

Blog Post – My beautiful son and his battle with Leukemia

Just so you all know, my Angel Card readings will be on hold for a while. My 3 year old son was recently diagnosed with High-Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. We are doing everything we can for him, and I do not plan to leave his side until he is able to leave this hospital, which will be at least another few weeks. He has 7 months of intensive treatments and 3 years of ongoing treatments at home and in hospital after that. He has a high risk of infection, and is going to require to be closely monitored for a long time, basically the rest of his life. He has a long road to recovery, but we are just thankful we caught it when we did, as the Leukemia cells were rapidly dividing and it could have become dire within a matter of weeks. If you would like to donate, here is the link to our Go Fund Me page, https://www.gofundme.com/colebaptiste . Your prayers and donations are greatly appreciated, and will not be taken for granted.
Thank you all so much for your support and love during this time.
