Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of February 9, 2020

The crystals I am working with for the week are Epidot, Prehnite and Fancy Jasper. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Epidote – Enhances the energy of whatever it touches, including other stones. Increases perception and brings spiritual growth. Helpful for releasing negativity and raising one’s vibrational energy. It is helpful for those stuck in modes of depression, hopelessness, or other negative thinking pattern. Brings a sense of hopeful optimism, helping to bring the mind into a higher vibration. Clears congestion and energy blockages. Helps to balance and stabilize energy. An excellent stone for connecting with nature and her healing qualities.

Prehnite – Boosts prophetic abilities. Enhances visualization and spiritual “knowing” and aids in connecting with higher realms. Helps induce lucid dreaming, while dreams are made easier to remember and nightmares are reduced. Prehnite is said to “heal the Healer,” and can be used to revitalize your personal healing environment. Fosters a strong sense of trust in the Universe. As such, Prehnite stops hoarding of both possessions and of love by fostering a belief in the abundance and power of the Universe to manifest whatever is needed. It clears toxins from the body and balances the meridians. It helps you say “no”. Prehnite encourages acceptance, emotional release, forgiveness, and compassion. It helps to remain true to self, uplift the spirit and find clarity of heart and mind.

Fancy Jasper – Brings wholeness and healing to an environment or situation. Helps with letting go of bitterness and resentment. Eliminates negativity and strengthens insight. Promotes forgiveness, peace and tranquility. Helps you to lighten up and enjoy yourself more. It can also relieve fear, guilt and frustration, building inner strength and confidence. Helps one to better connect with nature.

This week, we continue to work towards healing. We have been feeling stuck in patterns of negative thinking. For me, I’ve just been feeling so exhausted trying to keep up with life. When I ask for help, I mostly just feel unheard, which then turns into resentment, and my exhaustion marches on. How can you heal when it feels impossible? How can you get unstuck, when everything in your life is keeping you stuck? We have to keep working on tweaking our perception. Remember all the reasons you have to feel good and grateful. We have to look at life through a lens of optimism if we want to feel good and have energy. We have to increase our vibrations. Music is a great tool to get your energy up and turned around. Although I’m exhausted this morning, I’m going to get ready for work and rock out on my way there. I’m going to handle my day and come home to enjoy the evening, doing what lights me up. Crystal or reiki healing is a great way to release blockages and balance your energy. Crystals also help us connect to the healing qualities of nature. Although I’m tired and feeling low energy today (I couldn’t sleep with that full moon energy last night!), I truly believe good things are on the way for us this week. We are going to be rewarded from the Universe for all our hard work and dedication. God has seen how much we give. All that you do does not go unnoticed. We have to have wholehearted trust that the Universe will provide for all of our needs. We have to stop holding so tightly onto possessions and money, and even relationships. When we hold on too tightly, we create blockages and a sense of lack. We have to give freely and trust that the energy will be returned to us. While we should give of our energy freely, we also have to make sure we have some balance. It’s ok to say no if you don’t have the energy. Listen to your heart and your needs. Allow the Fancy Jasper to help you heal your environment and your situation. When you feel the resentment arising, do what you can to have compassion, and shift gears so that you can make the most of your energy. Sitting in negativity isn’t going to help anything. Find ways to shift into the energy of peace and contentment, of trust and faith. Lighten up a bit. Enjoy your days. Rock out. Laugh at stuff. Find ways to radiate the energy that feels good. Always remember, the wound is your gift, because it helps you find the way to healing. Let’s see what the cards have to add.

I love this deck. If I had to use one deck for the rest of my days, it would probably be this one. When you aren’t feeling your greatest, the best thing to do is find what lights you up. What makes you feel good? Is there a special place you like to go? Maybe out in nature? Is there an activity that makes you feel alive? What music makes you feel happy? This is how we raise our vibration, and in turn how we raise the entire consciousness of the planet. We are here to enjoy life and have fun. We only get one chance to live this life… do you want to spend it exhausted and resentful? Or do you want to spend it being happy? Filling it with beauty. Always remember how blessed you are to be here and enjoying this existence. The Mintakan card is the last card of this deck. It is asking you what you chapter you need to close? Where do you feel like your life doesn’t work for you? This card represents a need to belong and feel secure. We all would like to believe that some outside factor needs to be changed so we can find the place where we truly belong, but the truth of the matter is that we need to reconnect with our inner world, with our inner child, and create the life we want for ourselves. It doesn’t really matter what is around us, it matters how we feel inside. It matters how we connect to ourselves and what we believe. Connect with nature today, and remind yourself that whenever you are, you fit there, and you can make it wonderful for you. If you are waiting to feel like you belong, you may be waiting forever. You need to find the space in your heart where you have always belonged. Flip the energy from longing for more, to knowing your life is so good that people will be longing to share it with you. This is also about compassion. Some people don’t realize how they make you feel. Understand that and have compassion, and then make the space you need for your self. Stand in your power and know that you have always belonged… not only that, you have an important role to play on this Earth. We all do, so try not to take it too seriously. Enjoy this life. Take a break. Show others how to be happy and enjoy life. What if our most important purpose here on Earth is just to be happy? Enjoy the life you have created. My kids have a 5 day weekend, and I’m planning to get off of the treadmill of life, at least for a day or two. When we enjoy our life, that is when we show the Universe how grateful we are. When you feel happy and joyful, ask the Universe for more of that. Celebrate all of your hard work. Enjoy yourself and your life. Have a wonderful week!

Angel Card Reading – Week of Mar 20, 2016

The crystals I chose this week, starting from left to right, then top and bottom, are:

Pyrite – Attracts abundance in our life. It is a strong stone to promote positive thinking and abundance.

Goldstone – I also consider this a stone that attracts abundance. Goldstone is said to help attain one’s goals. Goldstone is also said to help one stay calm and stabilize the emotions. It can be used as an energy generator and can deflect unwanted energies, making it useful as a protection stone.

Red Jasper – It creates a strong connection to the earth and this is very helpful for emotional equilibrium and spiritual grounding. It gives deep insight into personal difficulties and gives you a strong sense of stability.

Carnelian – Carnelian are stones of action, that will give you the courage and confidence to move forward on a new path in life.

Apache Tears – Apache Tears are said to especially relieve grief and sadness as well as assisting in giving and accepting forgiveness. They can help release negative emotions, and they also can balance one’s emotional state. They are good luck stones, said to bring good luck to anyone who has one. They are excellent meditation tools, especially for clarifying issues and gaining insight.

Smoky Quartz – Is an excellent grounding stone. It neutralizes negative vibrations and is detoxifying.

Hematite – Hematite crystals have an excellent grounding and balancing energy, as well as being a powerful aid to stimulate the mind. They enhance memory and evoke deep thought.

I realized that I started with crystals to attract abundance and happiness leading the flow into our life, the middle represented our inner focus, the Apache Tears at the end to represent our strength needed throughout the path of our life, the Smoky Quartz above to direct the flow of our energy into the heavens, and the hematite to keep us grounded to Mother Earth. The orange and red crystals were spoken about during a card reading I read earlier today, and I also happened to sleep with them near me last night. It appears this week we will finally finish working through some issues within ourselves, to move forward to some positive lessons and manifestations, and it looks like this week will be very positive for us! Iceberg card always feels negative to me… Like some ugly part of my personality that I try to hide, is only becoming more prevalent because of the attention I give to try and avoid it. When we learn lessons in life, it takes time… It takes processing.. Like waves of the ocean washing up and slowing clearing away layers of hurt and pain, to eventually find renewal. I have been feeling frustrated lately, and asking myself what I do to attract these “feelings” about my life… What can I really do to change the outcome of my life and my happiness? I believe this card is a reminder that everyday, we are working on ourselves and changing. It is a process. That which we perceive is negative about ourselves, can just be an aspect of who we are, as an imperfect human being. I have to find the way to accept and love myself fully, and stop worrying and questioning. I need to let my life progress and process, while trying to stay positive and loving! Although I look at this card a bit negatively, it appears from the spread of the 3 cards that we will learn from our submerged aspects in our life, and be able to move forward to a new phase of our lives, one filled with manifestations and renewal. We got through the tough times, we completed our lessons, and it’s time to start fresh! I also believe, it could represent an idea or want that we have suppressed, and now it’s time to bring it to the surface! It’s funny, this evening I went outside and looked up at the moon and realized its almost full again. Where is the time going!! It felt to me like it should still be a New Moon, and look at the card that came. I believe this card is the perfect card for the first day of spring. It is a symbol of the promise in our life, that our desires are coming to fruition. The image in the card is so beautiful and romantic to me. Spring is always a season of love, and this card definitely confirms that. Keeping our thoughts positive and attracting positivity in our lives will help us guarantee our soul’s desires will come true. Whale is the perfect sign of us being able to move out of our element, if only momentarily, so we can face fears and move past them, knowing they were only illusionary. We are going to push our boundaries and surpass them. We are going to find newfound freedoms to live by going forward. Change can be scary, but it can also be liberating!! That’s exactly what I believe is in store for us this week, is a wonderful feeling of liberation and power! I need to get out of my element for a while, I think that is exactly what I need to restore my happiness and freedom! (Thank you Angels!! 🙏 I take just as much from these readings as you guys do!)

Iceberg (Submerged) – Up to 90% of an iceberg’s body is below the surface, deeply submerged in the bosom of Grandmother Ocean. Yet Grandmother allows considerable freedom for her enormous children, permitting them to move about as dictated by the currents and their own momentum. Having broken from a glacier or ice shelf, they float along the sea, much to the detriment of vessels that attempt to traverse their passageways. Most of us have heard stories of ill-fated ships that have had tragic encounters with these ice mountains. Although the top most portion can easily be seen, there’s still a massive amount of its body below the water that may be difficult to detect. That which remains unseen can fool us and perhaps even be dangerous and damaging. Whatever you suppress or deny and attempt to keep out of conciliation awareness will show up somewhere and somehow. These are your shadow aspects. At one time, you put them out of your consciousness for good reason, yet they remain contained by shame and guilt. Sometimes these submerged aspects of yourself are projected onto others, so that they mirror those denied or suppressed parts of you, and you may even harshly judge these characteristics when they are exhibited. Now is the time to allow these elements to surface and embrace them. These may make up some sort of self-expression, a secret dream you wish to accomplish, or even uglier aspects that are difficult to acknowledge or accept. Whatever you have submerged deep inside you, this is your opportunity to pay attention to those things and welcome them to the family called “you”.

New Moon (Promise) – Gazing at the sliver of the new moon smiling down upon them, the couple embraces each other, welcoming the promise of their love. The fading sun drapes the clouds and waters with its tinge of luminescence, as the crescent opens its arms to the nearby planet Venus, names after the Roman Goddess of love. This is a time for manifestation, beginnings, and renewal, with the promise that our desires will come to fruition. Here Grandmother Moon initiates another lunar cycle, moving from darkness to fullness and back again over approximately one month. Her promise of what’s to come is embedded in the first glimmer of her light as she emerges from behind the curtains of darkness that had recently encompassed her. It is a promise that has been kept for as long as she has existed. This is the time to launch a project, a new relationship, or renew something that has been put aside for a later date. With your intention and willingness to allow a full cycle to complete itself, that which you desire will manifest. The seed of that idea is ready to emerge from the darkness of your subconscious into your full awareness. The next step is to put into action what is required to fully realize this idea. A promise has 2 meanings: it can be a commitment and guarantee to yourself (or someone else) that a particular thing will happen, or it can imply that something specific is expected to happen. When your will is aligned with the will of Spirit and your intention is focused upon what you wish to have happen, there will be fulfillment, and the promise is kept.

Whale (Breach) – This powerful creature of the ocean takes a few great sweeps with his fins and propels himself briefly out of the waters where he spends the majority of his life. He’s taking a break from the ordinary Earth element in which he lives to exist even for a few moments in the realm of blue skies and sun, having broken through the skin of the ocean in the magnificent display of fullness and strength. In this image, the humpback whale that has burst out of the ocean expresses an almost palpable feeling of release and joy. Often when we manage to change our environment – to break through illusionary blockages – we experience an intense feeling of relief and can let go of any previously held fears and assumptions of what would happen once we did overcome that barrier, whether it’s material, emotional, or mental. Simply getting away from the trance of technology for a few hours and spending time in nature is a breach from the trappings of civilization that can suffocate us and prevent us from connecting to Earth. It’s time to take a break! Not just a coffee break, but a respite from the usual environment you find yourself in. That trip you wanted to take? Go for it. Tired of being indoors? Make it a point to get outside. You have become so attached your surroundings that you have created with them in the illusion of safety, yet it is not these things that make you feel safe. Rather, the familiarity you have imbued in your surroundings have generated this false sense of security. Taking time away from the familiar is literally about changing your external environment in a significant way, such as doing something unusual or perhaps something you have always wanted to experience. Another perspective is breaking through the barrier of beliefs that have constricted you in any way from being who you truly are. This is your opportunity to do some internal breaching of these thought patterns, which will open you up to different worlds and perspectives.

My Poetry – Vacation

Sun shining, burning my nose.
Hot sand, warm beneath my toes.
Ocean waves, softly rolling.
People laughing, couples strolling.
Fluffy clouds, floating in the sky.
Time casually rolling on by.
