New Moon in Aquarius – February 11, 2021

The New Moon in Aquarius peaks at 12:05pm MST on February 11, 2021 here in Alberta. 🌑✨💫 We have some exciting astrology coming up! This New Moon is bringing so much beauty, and is leading us into a positive Full Moon on February 27th. (If you want to know more about what’s coming up, get my Moon Magic Worksheet!) The 6 planet stellium is enhancing the Aquarian energy, and increasing our focus in one direction. Last time there was this many planets in Aquarius was 1962. This intense energy can make us feel overwhelmed. It is a good time to get some rest and relax. Just make sure you aren’t being too lazy, because this energy is also good to get things done! As always, it’s up to you how you use this energy. A New Moon is the time for new beginnings. You can look to your natal chart to see what house(s) Aquarius is in, and what areas of your life might be affected at this time. Even without your natal chart, it will probably be quite obvious what area of your life is being impacted now. This is a perfect time to set intentions for the future, especially ones that spark change. This is also a great time to support local community organizations or volunteer. Self-care practices, especially ones that are focused around forgiveness and clearing resentments from the past may be beneficial at this time. Visualize your inner flame burning bright. Appreciate your originality. Step into your power and embrace your true freedom. Make sure to have some fun too! 💃🏒⛸

The Great Saturn/Jupiter Conjunction & Winter Solstice – December 21, 2020

Welcome to the new Age of Aquarius! ♒️🌬

Jupiter and Saturn meet roughly every 20 years, due to Jupiter’s orbit of less than 12 years around the sun lining up with Saturn’s, which is 29.5 years long. This event marks the official shift from a 200 year period during which Jupiter and Saturn made conjunctions primarily in Earth signs into a 200 year period of conjunctions in Air signs, marking the start of a new era in a larger 800 year cycle.

This conjunction is occurring at 0 degrees Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of social change, humanitarianism, and justice.

Jupiter signifies expansion and growth, while Saturn represents limitation and structure. There are a lot of limitations right now, but it’s all about what you make of it. You do have a choice. This is all about how we handle our own expansion, and reevaluating where our own limitations are. Do we let people hold us down? Does our own perspective hold us back? This is a new beginning. This is a chance for us to come together in a positive, forward thinking way. We are stepping into our power and understanding that it is our own choosing that decides how our future unfolds. What decisions are you going to make for yourself going forward? What choices are the best for the greatest good of all? How can we bring our ideas together and work to make our planet a better place to live? We are leaving a focus on materialism, control, and hierarchies, and we are entering a time of decentralization and spirituality. We have levelled up. That’s the whole point of cycles, to continue growing and evolving. Yes, stuff is messed up right now… but what are you going to do about it? What are WE going to do about it? Are you going to wallow and exude negativity? Or are you going to find a way, and make your world a beautiful place anyway? Can we work together to make everyone’s world beautiful? How can we think in new ways?

Having Winter Solstice on the same day as the Great Conjunction? It truly is a fresh start… a clean slate. This is a turning point in the darkness. You get to choose who you are and what you are about.

You already know what you have to do… you know where you are headed. You just have to keep being brave, putting yourself out there, and showing the Universe you are ready… because you are.

You, just as you are.

Full Buck Moon in Capricorn with Lunar Eclipse – July 4, 2020

We have a beautiful Full Buck Moon in Capricorn, with a Lunar Eclipse, while the planets are “parading”, many are in retrograde, and it’s American Independence Day! I can already feel the energy!! 🌕🦌✨

We should be able to see the Lunar Eclipse here in North America, the max view for Alberta is 10:29pm. It will start around 10:15pm and end around 11:50pm. It is not a full eclipse, only part of the Moon will catch the Earth’s shadow, so it will not be completely black and may be very subtle.

2020 has been a crazy year, and in September, the energy is going to intensify again with Mars retrograde, and another eclipse season starting in November. Normally, we have 4 eclipses in a year, but this year we have 6.

We are currently in the Sirius Gateway from July 2-7. Sirius is our “Spiritual Sun” and is beaming energy down to Earth to help us. Sirius energy is magical. Did you see my post about seeing my last name everywhere! There is so much magic and beautiful energy now. This is a perfect time to nourish and recharge. The energy is very strong, and we are receiving intuitive guidance and spiritual downloads.

The Full Moon is the perfect time to release whatever you have been holding onto. If you wrote down intentions during the New Moon, the Full Moon is the perfect time to burn them and release them to the Universe with faith that they will be fulfilled. Wether we like it or not, this Full Moon/Eclipse is going to take away whatever is no longer necessary in our lives. It will be easier if you allow things to flow and change, and fall away as needed, instead of resisting. Trust that whatever is happening is for a reason. Embrace it with hope and faith.

The energy lightens up as we move toward Leo season July 22, and we should get a bit of a reprieve until September.
