Weekly Card Reading for the week of April 10, 2022

The crystals I am working with for the week are Red Jasper, Lava Rock, and Banded Agate. I use these crystals to connect to the energy, to connect to the message meant for everyone who reads this, and to send you the healing energy of the crystals.

Red Jasper – A stone of fairness and justice because its energy is used to decrease injustice and help in unfair situations. Helps you take all of your energy and use it in a balanced manner. Used for protection. It is said to be outstanding for promoting survival and overcoming survival issues. It has very nurturing energy and can help with ancestral/inherited issues. It is also said to enhance responsibility, choice, and compassion.

Lava Rock – Grounds and calms the emotions. A stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment. Lava stones are good for stabilizing and grounding because of the strong connection to the Earth. In folk remedies, it was given to soldiers to help them remain calm during battle. A stone of courage and gives people stability as they go through changes in their lives.

Banded Agate – Called the earth rainbow. Increases concentration, honesty and memory. It helps bring spiritual experiences into everyday reality. Brings love to the chakras to rid negative energy.

It’s important that we are staying strong and grounded through these trying and transformational times. Things are shifting and changing, and we have to make sure we are standing in our own power, making responsible choices for the sake of our future and our goals and dreams. I can’t speak for everyone, but personally, and maybe it’s my Libra Sun, but I feel like I have had to fight for fairness always in my life. I’ve gone through so many things that felt completely unfair. I have been in survival mode for a long time. If I don’t take back power and control over my choices, then I continue letting life happen to me, instead of working for me. We truly are co-creators of our reality, and there is so much power in that. We have choice every single day. We are trying to enjoy our lives more and appreciate the beauty, and that can be hard when our energy is pulled elsewhere and pulled down. You deserve to be loved and supported… you do. The things that haven’t killed you made you stronger, this is completely true and a blessing we can take forward on our path, but in order to manifest the energy we truly deserve, we have to stop fighting for it and claim it. You deserve to put your energy into yourself and your dreams. Your dreams and goals are worthwhile and attainable. We have to keep moving forward and believing in ourselves. We need to take care of ourselves. I’ve been praying for protection, guidance, and clarity, and these crystals are here to confirm that Spirit is here with us, they hear our prayers, and karma will protect us. All we have to do is what is best for the highest good, and let Spirit take care of the rest. It’s interesting for the Ancestors to come up with the Red Jasper, because these limiting beliefs about my worthiness stems back beyond my 6x Great Grandfather, one of the first Map Makers of the interior of Canada. He was always giving more than he received, and was undervalued during his lifetime for his contributions. I see my beautiful relations all around me, and each one of them deserves the world. Why wouldn’t I see myself in that same way? Spirit keeps bringing me this message that I am here to break these limiting systems, but in order to do that, I have to make powerful choices and decisions to overcome these fears and beliefs. Have compassion for how far you’ve come to get here. It is all a part of our perfect path, despite the challenges that seem unfair. Know that if you keep giving and serving others with your beautiful heart, that karma will play its part in you reaping the rewards you deserve. Shed the unneeded layers of emotional attachment. Take back your power to choose for yourself. Stabilize and prepare yourself for the battle that may come. Have strength and courage. You’ve survived every day of your life thus far, and tomorrow should be no different. Make the best of it that you can. Recognize the signs and guidance from Spirit. Whenever you are feeling down, resentful, or angry, ask the Angels to surround you with protection and calm. Remind yourself that it will pass. Give yourself the love you seek and hope for from others. Bring in love to get out the negativity. There is so much love and abundance to go around, tap into that instead of the fear or negative energy. Good things are coming from all of this, no matter how hard it seems sometimes. Keep marching on. Enjoy the Full Moon in Libra coming up this Saturday, it’s the perfect time to let go of what isn’t serving you. It’s no wonder there are such themes of battle, fairness, and justice, with the Sun in Aries and with the Moon going to be in Libra. I’m certainly feeling it! Let’s see what the cards have to say!

Wow. I say that every week, but honestly wow. Spirit is absolutely here with us. Look at all this beauty. Look at Spirit looking down on us from the sky, through a rainbow of joy and abundance. There is so much promise to come. There is love, beauty, abundance, and fertility. Everything we hope for can come true, if we work for it, if we co-create it. I actually laughed when I saw the Co-create Card, I knew when I said it earlier that it was going to come up! Spirit is confirming that we absolutely need to do our part in all of this. You might have to step out onto the wire and take a chance. You might feel scared and vulnerable. There is something so much bigger at play going on behind all of this, behind each of our lives and the choices we make. I was lucky my Ancestors on my Dad’s side are so well documented due to their history with the HBC, and to be able to read their words and understand their sense of duty and responsibility, and also to see their humanness and their love and compassion for their families. Those are also traits that have carried through the generations. I always admired my Grandfather and my Father, they always kept their cool dealing with others, and always offered compassion and understanding. Learning about my Ancestors these past couple years, I see these traits carry back as far as I can tell. My Ancestors laid a foundation for me of love, compassion, and empathy for all. I think their humble nature is what created blocks from receiving abundance, or believing they are worthy or deserving. I see these blocks still popping up in my life. The owl is wise and the cheetah is powerful, with the strength to go the distance. Use your smarts and strength to break through these blocks and repair any cracks in the foundation. See a new fertility in your life and be willing to receive in ways you haven’t been thus far. Believe you are worthy and deserving of all the great things… success, abundance, riches, joy… and keep sitting on that egg and helping to enrich it and grow it. You will be reaping rewards in your future. You have creative ideas in your mind, make sure you are writing them down and giving them the consideration they deserve. Spirit is supporting you through all of this. Trust in the signs and inspirations you receive. You are a part of Spirit, a part of this Universe, a part of everything that exists. You are a paintbrush that creates beauty with your own unique individual expression. You are the only one who can contribute to this world in your way. You are the inspiration of the Divine. You exist on this Earth to help manifest the ideas of our Creator. You are a miracle, with the ability to create more miracles. Keep creating beautiful things in your life, and you will be happy with how everything turns out. Keep your heart open to love and friendship connections too, which can enhance beauty in our life and inspire creative ideas. Apply yourself to your goals and dreams. Believe in their worthiness. The potential for manifestation is unlimited, believe this to be true with your whole heart. Do you believe Spirit deserves to be blessed? Then believe that you do too. You are not alone and you do not have to carry it all alone. Reach out for support from your friends, those you love, and from Spirit. You can keep trying to do everything on your own, and continue struggling.. or you can let it go to Spirit and allow for their support. Stop being hard on yourself and get out of your own way. Let your life be blessed. Trust that your needs will be met, especially when you stand in your authentic power and chase your dreams with relentless passion and fearlessness. Keep creating the beautiful artwork that is your unique life. Let your thoughts and feelings be sweet with gratitude and you will be nourished with the honey of abundance. You are a unique, deserving, expression of the Divine. Let the authenticity of your soul illuminate your purpose. What lights you up inside? What work can you do that will impact the world in positive and beautiful ways? It might not even matter what work you do, but how you do it. Miracles are a choice and a way of seeing the world. Everything is a miracle if you think about it. It’s a miracle I am here today, and that I can experience the gift of love. Embrace your destiny and say yes to opportunities. Be open and willing to receive. Make sure to nourish yourself, before you feel empty. You are so loved. Feel love and compassion for yourself and all you’ve been through. Turn your troubles over to the Divine for healing, and remember how much beauty already exists. I LOVE the New Moon Card, it’s one that comes up often for me, and I just noticed it is written on page 111 in the book. This is a time of new beginnings, and there is so much opportunity, promise, support, and love on the horizon. This is a time that our desires are manifesting to fruition. We need to fully realize our ideas and inspirations. We must keep moving forward, while finding balance by stopping to enjoy and appreciate the beauty we’ve co-created. When you see the Moon and the Clouds and the Trees, know they are just like you and just like me, full of deserving abundant beauty. Align with the will of Spirit and believe your desires are worthy of fulfillment. The promise will be kept and karma will come full circle. Have a beautiful week!

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of June 14, 2020

The crystals I am working with for the week are Shungite, Specularite and Apache Tears. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystal to you.

Shungite – It is an extraordinarily positive stone, and using it may bring you a variety of blessings. This is an amazing stone, and one that is beneficial to a healthy life. It is one of the only known natural material known to contain fullerenes, which are powerful anti-oxidants. The energy embodied within this ancient stone is said to absorb and eliminate anything that is a health hazard to human life, and it has active metaphysical properties with strong healing powers.

Specularite – Grounding, yet has a high vibration. It helps us identify our talents and put them to best use. Dissolves negativity. Balances the meridians and Yin/Yang energy. Assists mental functioning, memory and development. Calms the mind and brings inner peace. Boosts confidence and self worth.

Apache Tears – The Legend of the Apache Tear is this: One day a group of Apache was ambushed by an enemy calvary. The Apaches fought bravely but were greatly outnumbered and driven to the top of a high bluff. Their arrows gone and unable to fight and unwilling to be taken captive, they leaped from the cliffs to their death. Their women were understandably grief-stricken and wept over the bodies. Their teardrops froze when they hit the ground to become the lovely stones we know today as Apache Tears. It is said that whomever owns one of these stones will never cry again, for the Apache women shed enough tears already. Apache Tears are said to relieve grief and sadness. They assist in giving and accepting forgiveness. They can help release negative emotions and balance one’s emotional state. They are good luck stones. Apache Tears are a gently grounding stone.

I haven’t done a weekly reading in months. Having everybody home all day… it’s just been a lot. We have been going through such crazy times, experiencing so many extremes. Honestly, after not doing weekly readings, and with everything, I was not sure what this reading would be like! What I am getting from these crystals, is a sense of more stability. There is a lot around grounding here. We need to keep our feet strongly planted in reality. Not only do we need to stay grounded, but we also need to reach higher. When we have some stability, we can grow higher and higher. The crystals are asking us to live our best lives, in the healthiest ways possible. For me, I’ve been replacing my cleaning, beauty and healthcare products with cleaner and greener alternatives. Our bodies are sensitive and absorbing everything around us, and I want to do the least harm I can. We are really learning that in order to heal; to be truly well; we need to eliminate sources of toxicity in our life. This means toxicity of all forms. I find it interesting that I chose the Apache Tear crystal, as I have a few black ones that look similar. The Apache Tear is representing the emotional pain we are all experiencing as a human race. Corona virus, racial issues, prejudice, injustice, police brutality, suicide, depression, anxiety, mental health issues, abuse, genocide, inequality…. The list goes on and on, and none of us are unaffected. The Apache Tears beg us to come together, instead of creating a further divide. Enough tears have been shed. We cannot get to a new future if we continue to drag the past behind us. We have to let it go and start anew. People being held accountable for their choices and actions, proper justice, policing and politics that actually help people… that is the way forward. People in the past got away with so much because there was no accountability, but now, that is all changing, and it’s actually a huge blessing. This is how we create change, by understanding what isn’t working and how we can make it better. Governments need to ensure equality, fairness, and a quality of life that allows people to enjoy their time, instead of wanting to end their life due to the stress and pressures of society. We need a society where we can rely on each other, and I truly believe we are starting to get there. We all have to forgive each other, and we also have to be willing to accept the forgiveness. This means fully accepting it, and letting go. Dwelling on all the wrongs takes the focus off what we need to be doing right. We have to learn to forgive because we are imperfect human beings, and we will always fail at some point. You might as well accept that right now. We all will make mistakes. You will get it wrong sometimes. As long as you are trying… as long as you are living with love in your heart… that’s all that matters. Even though things have been hard, there is still this excitement for the future in the background. There are still possibilities and potential that awaits us. Recognize all that you have to offer, and put yourself out there to help how you can. Together, we can all make a difference. The more you put yourself out there, and the more you accomplish, the more happy, confident and peaceful you will feel. Let’s see what the cards have to say!

Wow. These cards never cease to amaze me. Karmic Relationships is about all the conflict we are experiencing now. It confirms it is all a part of our soul growth. It is believed that the constellation Orion was once a place of great polarity and eventual unity. Polarity causes conflict and highlights separation. However, because of this, conflict can also result in unity and growth. Too many misunderstandings are caused when we don’t open our heart and mind and see things from a different point of view. We don’t need to always be right-fighting and defending our beliefs. It’s ok to understand that people sometimes do not get it, and send them love anyway. I truly believe that the people posting All Lives Matter are wonderful people. I see their point of view and understand their perspective. What these cards are asking is for us to soften our hearts, and accept that we don’t always understand the perspective of others. Black Lives Matter and All Lives Matter, yes this is true, but people that have been marginalized need your support right now, and that’s what makes All Lives Matter an insensitive term. It marginalizes the rights of people who have already been marginalized. It’s ok if you don’t fully understand, all that matters is that you try to have an open heart. That you are willing to consider other opinions and perspectives. We all want to be seen and heard, understood and cherished. We can’t be reactive and take things personally. We need to find common ground we can grow from. We need to challenge ourselves to rise up through this conflict. Your Life is a Canvas reminds us that no matter what is going on, we have the power to create our own reality. We are responsible for the life we live and how we live it. It highlights the word “accountability”. You are accountable for everything you accept as truth in your life. You are accountable for your actions. You are accountable for your energy. Take responsibility for what you are creating. If you think positively in this moment, the next moment is bound to be even better. What kind of life do you want to create? It’s never too late to try again. You can start by feeling grateful for everything you have now. Inner Earth tells us that we can let go of worries, because we will survive this. There will be new solutions and new beginnings created because of this. Some of these solutions, are beyond what you can perceive right now. Surprising outcomes and resolutions could present themselves. This is about having faith in the Universe, knowing it’s always working in your favour. Shake up your life and shift your thinking. Try things you don’t normally do. Put yourself out there! You will notice in doing so, that helpful people and signs from the Universe will show up in all kinds of ways. Make sure you shift your focus so you can see the blessings, and be open and willing to receive them. Remember, you create your reality. If you walk around angry at the world, you are going to miss many opportunities. Open your heart and shift your outlook!

Weekly Angel Card Reading – Week of August 19, 2018

The crystals I am working with for the week are Chrysoprase, Prehnite and Serpentine. I use these crystals to connect to your energy, to connect to the message meant for you, and to send the healing properties of the crystals to you.

Chrysoprase – Connected to nature. Profoundly mood-lifting, cheering, supportive, and healing for the spirit. Helps in times of depression, sadness or coping with the darker, more challenging periods of life. It can help us to let go of anger, and focus on the positive, rather than being overwhelmed by the negative, and remind us of what we have to be grateful for – definitely a “glass half full” sort of crystal. For acceptance and self-acceptance, as well as healing the physical and emotional heart. It is also highly detoxifying, and can be used to balance and support the immune system.

Prehnite – Boosts prophetic abilities. Enhances visualization and spiritual “knowing,” and aids in connecting with higher realms. Helps induce lucid dreaming, while dreams are made easier to remember and nightmares are reduced. Prehnite is said to “heal the Healer,” and can be used to revitalize your personal healing environment. Put Prehnite in your garden to create a healing sanctuary for yourself. Use Prehnite with energy grids to enhance protective fields, calm, and bring inner peace. Prehnite fosters a strong sense of trust in the Universe. As such, Prehnite stops hoarding of both possessions and of love by fostering a belief in the abundance and power of the Universe to manifest whatever is needed. It clears toxins from the body and balances the meridians. It helps you say “no”. Prehnite encourages acceptance, emotional release, forgiveness, and compassion. It helps to remain true to self, uplift the spirit and find clarity of heart and mind.

Serpentine – Helps with emotional cleansing, chakra cleansing, psychic powers, and to attract love and money. Considered a protective stone. Serpentine is an excellent stone for meditation. Encourages contact with Elemental beings.

The first thing I see is the term profoundly mood lifting. All the guidance I have been seeing says that we will be moving forward into better, more energized energy, and receiving more abundance (yay!!!) cause, let me tell you. Things have been rough. Truly, things have been so hard for everyone. The floods, the forest fires, the smoke, the economy, the governance of our countries… the list goes on and on. We live in such selfish times. We have to look out for ourselves because one missed paycheck and you might not make your rent. Things are expensive. Things are scary. It is soooo easy to feel fearful. So we take everything we can get, and we sit on it. We hold it tight and make sure it’s protected. We look out for ourselves. My question is, what would our world look like, if we only kept what we needed, and we shared and we worked together. What if we didn’t care about having the best of everything, but cared that everyone had something? Would there be less waste? Would there be less over consumption and hoarding? Would we be more connected to our planet instead of consuming it? Would it allow nature to flourish along side of us, instead of our human domination wiping out species after species? These crystals tell me, that we are moving into a new time. People are waking up and seeing the destruction that surrounds us. Here in Alberta, we couldn’t miss the dark orange skies that plaqued our atmosphere Wednesday afternoon. I happened to have the radio on, and the announcer said, “If God was trying to send us a message, a warning, what would that look like?” He was very convinced these smoky orange skies were a warning from God. It really makes you think, when all living things are struggling to breathe. So what should we do??? Try to be a little more generous and a little less selfish. Share with others graciously. Help where you can. Work on yourself and do some healing. Shift some perceptions. We were just talking about the “glass half-full” perspective last week, so it’s perfect to see it here in the crystals! Do what you can from where you are. Start with what you have. I know for me, I am going to get better on my recycling habits, try to drive a little less, and get out for walks and appreciate nature more. If all of us make improvements, no matter how small, to lead more positive lives, imagine how we can change things on a larger scale. Imagine how we can change the energy. Imagine how we can influence the outcome. The changes start with us, and we have the power of the internet. Let’s ban together and find ways to create positive change. I know we can, and will, and good times are coming! Let’s see what the cards have to add!

I love these cards. These cards go so deep. There have been so many messages lately, to let go of the need to try to control outcomes, and to just allow life to happen. The Yin Card is all about conscious allowing. Like the Prehnite said, believe in the abundance and power of the Universe. Be open and allow yourself to receive. There is so much overflowing beauty and abundance. Do your part to be positive, put yourself out there, and then gratefully await what is coming for you. This does not necessarily mean things are on hold, or that you’ll have to wait long, it’s just about allowing things to flow to you. It’s about being willing to receive, and knowing you truly deserve greatness. Try to live life without demand or expectation, and just know good things are coming. The All That Glitters Card is exactly what we talked about above, that we think we need everything new, we need to keep up with what the celebs have, and it’s a bad way to live. We block our energy thinking we aren’t m good enough, thinking we can never have what other people have. Honestly, all that glitters isn’t gold. Even celebrities aren’t happy, because what truly matters is how happy you are inside, and how happy you are with the beautiful life you have. It’s about being right within yourself. All the stuff we hoard and protect, isn’t what truly matters in life. Sharing with others and living abundantly with all humanity, in a world where everyone is happy, is what truly matters. What we all need to know, is that we are all perfect and capable naturally, so you don’t need to put on a facade to please others, to improve your “status”. You don’t need to be more. Accept yourself and love yourself now. You are worthy right now, worthy of every wonderful thing this world can offer. So put yourself out there and be you. To be fair, there is always going to be good times, and bad times, no matter who you are. There always going to be times where the scales will balance out. All experiences have their place, so try to just allow what comes. You reap what you sow… make sure your sowing good things. Remain open and fair. This is a time for us to be diplomatic, while still having our voices heard about the dire changes we need to make. Now is a time for even exchanges, and justice will prevail. We are the future, and it’s up to each and every one of us as humans to lead the way. Make sure to do your part, and I know you will be rewarded.
